Falling in love

Manik entered his room. The lights were dim but scented candles were giving enough light to see around. His gaze move towards nandani who was sitting on bed playing with hem of her duppta. Maybe nervous. Chuk maybe, she is nervous. Thought he. He smiled and walk towards her. Nandani felt him near him. She immediately became more nervous.

Na: ( herself) Why is he coming so close!? Is he gonna force me if I denied to take our relationship to next level. What!!!! NOO!! It's not that I'm not ready, but common we are almost strangers. But nandu he is a man after all. Ayyipaa save me.

(Manan room )

Ma: hey, relax. ( sitting in front of her) I know we are married but didn't know each other. So, hello I'm manik malhotra. I'm 24 year old. I'm CEO of malhotra empire. A big time foodie.

Manik said last line in a funny manner which made nandani laugh. A unknown fear which was engulfed in her chest suddenly flew away. Manik chuckle but soon got lost in her laugh. How peaceful. Thought he. He smiled seeing her forgetting nervousness.

Na: hey, I'm nandani mur....( stopped and then smiled) malhotra ( this made manik smile and proud) I'm 22 years old. I'm a doctor, cardiologist.

Manik made a face listening to her last line which was noticed by nandani.

Na: Kya hua!? You don't want me to work ( in a dissapointed tone)

Ma: Aree nhi, why will I stop you to work. It's your choice 

This made nandani heart flutter. She felt blessed.

Na: toh muh kyu bnaya ( confused)

Ma: Aree jiss subject main fail hota tha ussi subject main tum top Karti thi

Na: huhh matlab ( confused)

Ma: matlab main school main biology main bhout bura tha ( making a bad face)

ND nandani laugh at this. Manik too join her.

Ma: Tum jakar change karlo, you must be uncomfortable in this.

Na: yeah..

Ma: you use the washroom, I will change in room only.

Nandani smile and went to washroom. Manik changed himself in room only. After few minutes nandani came out in a pink satin night gown.
