(Hey guys! I know what you are thinking. It’s been years since you last updated! Where have you been?! Well, to put it simply, I had a writers block. A big one. I know what I want to happen in this story just not sure of how to write it all. Not only that but I’ve ben busy with work and being exhausted. I do want to start writing again so I am going to try to make time! Anyways, I hope you guys can forgive for the long hiatus. Enjoy the chapter!)
(The Broly movie is non-cannon (the very first one). But after doing just a little research I found out that if the movie were to be put into the series, I would occur during the Cell games. The days leading up to it.)
Megan’s P.O.V.
“It’ll be fun! Loosen up a bit grouchy pants.” Rosie nudged me as we continued to walk through the park. This blue haired woman that Rosie knew invited us to a picnic out somewhere in the park.
“How can I not be tense. Cell plans on wiping out this entire planet in ten days and yet we are spending time celebrating instead of training. So sorry if I seem a bit on edge.” I glanced at her with my eyebrows furrowed. “Why are we coming out here anyways? I don’t even know half of those people.” The sound of people chattering and laughing got louder and louder as we neared her friends.
“Don’t worry. I don’t know some of them either.” Rosie spoke with a goofy smile on her face. “And that’s supposed to make me feel better how?” I returned my glance to group of people in front of us. I didn’t recognize any of them, except for Kakarots son, Gohan was it? “From what I as told, Vegeta was coming.” Now that peaked my interested. The man who never stops training is coming to an Earthling picnic when the biggest threat upon Earth is coming within a few days from now.
“If he is here, where is h-?”
“Hey guys! I’m glad you came!” The blue haired woman spoke loudly as she held a small infant in her arms, cooing. “Hey Bulma! Oh, this is Megan! She was the one I was telling you about over the phone.” Since when did Rosie and this girl talk on the phone. “Nice to meet you.” I finally spoke up with a small smile. My eyes went to the infant in her arms. Rosie told me that this boy was Vegeta’s son. I was shocked at first to hear this, or to even think that Vegeta would mate with human. I figured his pride would have gotten in the way or that…. No, he had no idea that I was alive. Why would he with me anyways? I’m just a low class warrior who abandoned him at the castle.
“Megan? Hello, Earth to Megan?” Rosie waved her hand in front of my face. I didn’t realize that I had spaced out. My cheeks flushed a bright red from embarrassment. “Sorry.” I managed to mutter as I quickly turned my head to hide myself from this situation. “Anyways, let me introduce you to everyone.”
~Small time skip after introductions cause I’m lazy~
“It’s nice to meet you all.” Rosie went to sit by Gohan on the picnic blanket, motioning for me to sit down. Just as I was about to sit down, I sensed a familiar energy. Vegeta. I shook my head. “I’m good. Thanks.” My feet instantly began to carry my body towards him. There were so many things that I had to ask him. Why was he here instead of training? Did Earth change him that much? What happened after I left the castle…? A tall tree was know in front of me, with cherry blossoms slowly fluttering down. When did I get here? My head turned around to see just how far I walked away from the group to here.
“What do you want?” A husky voice spoke from the other side of the tree. I cautiously walked towards the owner of the voice to see Vegeta sitting on the ground with his arms folded and his closed. Of course he could sense me. “What? Can I not come over to talk to you?”
“If I wanted to be bothered, I would have just stayed over there with the weaklings.” A small sigh escaped my lips as a small ‘whatever’ left my lips. I sat beside him, putting some space between us. My back leaned up against the same tree as my eyes watched the cherry blossom leaves flutter down all around us. It was calming to see the pink petals fall and the gentle breeze blowing against my face. Silence passed over us the sound of the group singing karaoke played in the background. Somehow, all that noise seemed to drown from my mind. “Congrats by the way.”
“What for?” I could tell he was looking at me. The feeling of his burning stare on my skin. “You had a baby didn’t you?” His face hardened as he quickly looked away from me. “Hmph. Who cares about the brat.” Brat? Who does he think he is? Something just did not settle within me when he said. “Brat? He is your son Vegeta.”
“So what?” His response with calm. Too calm for my liking. “He is just another weakling that I don’t have time to deal with.”
“He is your son Vegeta! It doesn’t matter how weak he is or if you wanted him or not. You take responsibility for what you do and who you do it with! A boy needs his father and he is going to need you whether you like it or not!” My voice grew louder than what I would have liked it to be. But he needed to hear it. From somebody. And since most people are afraid to even stand up to him, I did it. He doesn’t scare me because I know who he is. But right now, he is acting like a spoiled child. Though it did seemed to get some reaction out of him. His eyes widen for a just a moment but went back to being the hard usual stare he gives everybody else.
Before he could give a response, the sun seemed to have disappeared. Right above us was a alien ship. There were many energies inside that didn’t seem to be to concerned with. Expect for one. Within moments the ship had landed a few from us, causing everyone to stand, being prepared for whatever comes out of the ship. The door began to slide up as a ramp descended from just below the door. Many what looked like soldiers came running out and lined up beside the ramp. Two beings began to exit the ship. What looked like the leader and his right hand man.
The leader came straight for Vegeta and I, his eyes landing on the Prince. He stopped in front of Vegeta and knelt in front of him. Shortly after, all the soldiers who had left the ship had did the same thing, bowing down to Vegeta. It seemed to have little effect on Vegeta surpsingly but he looked willing to llisten what the hell was going.
“Prince Vegeta,” The man started. “It is an honor to finally meet you, your highness.” His head looked up to the Prince with a small smirk on his face. “You are a Saiyan aren’t you. Ha, at least someone knows their place.” Vegeta smirked as his eyes glanced at me when he spoke. “Tell me your name.” Vegeta looked back down to the leader as he began to stand again on his feet. “My name is Paragus, my Lord. We were informed that you resigned on a Planet called Earth. I came to give you an offer.” Now that peeked my interest. Another Saiyan, coming to Earth just to offer Vegeta a present? My arms folded across my chest as I listened closely. Vegeta motioned for the other Saiyan to continue. “We have created a new Planet Vegeta for you to rule.” Oh come on, now this is way to god to be true. “Not interested.” Vegeta began to walk away, shocking us both with his answer. “M-My Lord, that is not all the news I bring. We h-have also located THE legendary super Saiyan.” Vegeta stopped walking, not turning to look at Paragus.
“Continue.” Paragus gulped as he continued on. “The legendry super Saiyan has destroyed several planets within the past few months. Unfortuanlty we haven’t been able to pinpoint his exact location. But, we know that the Prince himself could find and defeat him.” You have got to be kidding. This man is obviously just trying to lure Vegeta into a trap. But it seemed to have worked. Vegeta turned around with a smirk on his face. “Okay, you have peaked my interest. When do we leave?”
“Vegeta! You can’t be seriously thinking about going with this guy!” I had to intervene. I know Vegeta can’t be this dense to actually going into space with this guy. “Immediately, you highness.” Paragus spoke as he placed his hand on his chest in a respectful manner. “Then lets go.”
“Oh come on!” Vegeta walked right past me, not even acknowledging my presences. Just as I was about to go tell him how stupid this all sounded, Paragus spoke to me. “You must a Saiyan. It’s been a while since I have seen a female Saiyan.” I folded my arms across my chest, trying to see where he was going with this. “If you seem so concerned with Prince Vegeta, you should come along as well.” My eyes narrowed, something doesn’t sit right with me. But, I can’t just let Vegeta go with these strangers by himself. Even if he is stronger than me. “Fine. But don’t you try anything.” Paragus chuckled with a smirk. “Wouldn’t think of it.”
As I was heading to the ship, I saw that Krillin and Oolong were trying to hold back a very drunk Roshi from going into the ship. Even Gohan went in to help. “Megan! Don’t tell me you’re going too!” Rosie came running up to me as I stopped in my tracks. “I don’t particularly favor going.” I told her honestly, because I really didn’t. The was one reason why I was going. “I’m guessing it’s Vegeta isn’t.” I looked at the ship before slowly nodding my head. “If you don’t make it back-“ I cut her off. Rosie had a tendency to over worry about anything. “I will make it back. With everyone. And Vegeta…” Rosie stared at me for a moment and pulled me into a bear hug, which I did respond back with. “Be careful out there. Okay?”
“Okay. I will. I promise.” I pulled away with a smile, then proceeded to the ship. “Hey Megan!” I looked over my shoulder at the blonde. “Yeah?”
“While you are out there, make your move! I know he can’t resist that behind!” My whole face heated up. I knew I was the color of a tomato.
“Rosie!” I sighed in frustration as slowly shook my head to myself. It seemed the ship was getting ready to close. I quickly made my way inside to see a very frustrated Krillin sitting next to Roshi, who seemed to think he was still on stage singing karaoke. Trunks had managed to get on the ship as well, just as we were about to take off. I didn’t see Vegeta any where. Probably took him to the very front, leaving us ‘commoners’ back here. Gohan sat by himself so I made my way to him. “Hey kiddo.” I spoke to him as I sat in the empty seat. “And for my next number…!” Roshi yelled with a laugh as he began to sing again. This was going to be a long ride.
