~1 Month Later~

Megan P.O.V.

Everything felt like it was falling into place. Ever since Vegeta and I made up, things have been running smoothly. Especially with the pregnancy. Occasionally he would go train and come back. But the closer I got to my due date, he would train a little less everyday. And if he did, it would on the Lookout just in case I went into labor.
Usually when a Saiyan woman gets close to giving birth, her body prepares days in advance. There were moments when I felt I was going into a false labor and it would last a few hours. It hurt like hell but it would go away eventually. From what I remember my mother telling me, when it was time for the baby to come, I would know. The pain would probably be much more intense than what I had been feeling the past few days.
At the moment, I needed to stand outside the Lookout to get some fresh air. Being inside the Lookout for so long made it feel like it was getting harder and harder to breathe. “How is our young mother doing?” Rosie stood beside me as she looked at the clouds floating by. “Fine now. I’m just ready to hold my baby.” My hands rubbed my stomach, trying to calm the child inside. “I know you are. Where is he?” I knew Vegeta was on the Lookout, I could sense him but his exact location I wasn’t sure of.
“He’s here. The times getting closer, so I don’t think he is going to go far.” Rosie huffed as she folded her arms. “For his sake, he better be here.” Another pain shot throughout my stomach, causing me to grit me teeth and take in a sharp breath. “You okay?” Rosie placed her hand on my back as the pain didn’t stop. “This isn’t… right.” I had to speak in between breaths. The pain was worse than before. But just like the other times it stopped. “Is it time?” I slowly tried to stand up straight as I let out a long sigh.
“I don’t think so. But that hurt worse than it did yesterday.” Slowly, my hands made circles around the sides of my stomach as if I’m soothing that pain that was already gone. “Do you think today might be the day?” Rosie asked me but I shook my head. “I’m not sure.” A smile grew onto Rosie's face. “I think you are going to have a baby today.” She put her hands on her hips with a proud smirk. “You sure are confident.”
“Of course, I am! You look like you are about to pop! I bet you will have a baby before the end of the day.” At that moment, I could hear footsteps behind me. My head turned to see Piccolo with a small smirk of his own. “I have to agree. That baby is ready to come out.” I smiled at them both. “You guys maybe right. Only time will-“ Another sharp pain spread throughout my stomach region, worse than before. My whole body tensed as I bent over again holding my stomach. Rosie rubbed my back as she looked at Piccolo. “Breathe…” She instructed me as I tried to breathe in and out slowly but it sounded shaky. Soon the pain subsided but it was still hard to stand up. “You know what, I think it’s time.”
Rosie smiled with excitement as she clapped. “Alright it’s time people. Let’s move it!” Rosie pushed the struggling Namek inside as she continued to yell at him. I sighed deeply as I kept my hands on my stomach. “Alright little ones. We got this. Take it easy on your momma okay.” I laughed softly to myself.
“Is it time?” Vegeta’s voice spoke behind me, and I could tell from his voice he was worried. “Yeah… It’s time.” I tried to think back to what the doctor told me when it came to my contractions. Oh yeah, steady breathing. I tried that and it seemed to help just a little.
“What do you need me to do?” Vegeta stood next to me. I grabbed his hand tightly and looked up at him. “I need you to not leave my side, okay?” I’m scared. Childbirth is no joke and bringing another little one into the world is a scary feeling. I could feel him squeeze my hand in return, letting me know that he wasn’t going anywhere. This new reassurance made me feel like I could do anything.
“Okay, how far are the contractions apart? On a scale of one to ten, how bad do they hurt? Should we take a car-“ Rosie came out of the Lookout with Piccolo trailing behind holding the bags. “Ro, we have enough time to get to the hospital. Relax.”
“We have no time to waste! Let me get my car and-“ “No, I’m taking her. Be faster than riding in a vehicle with you two.” Vegeta carefully picked me up bridal style, trying his best not to hurt me or the baby. “You are NOT flying her.” Rosie protested, just as I felt another contraction hit. “We are leaving NOW!” I managed to yell at them as I squeezed Vegeta’s shoulder, letting the pain slowly pass on.
Vegeta flinched a bit at how suddenly my voice got louder, but no one else argued over the situation. “Fine, but you better be careful with her or I will have that flamed hair head of yours hanging on the wall.” Rosie’s voice got scarily low, it made even me shudder from her dark aura. Vegeta nodded his head once with a gulp before taking off into the sky.
~Time skip to the hospital room~
It didn’t take long for the nurse to get me into a room. Though, if Vegeta didn’t threaten to blow up their homes we would still be in the waiting room. By now the contractions were beyond painful. Words couldn’t describe the amount pain that my own body was doing to me. They had hooked me up to several machines, some to my arms and the others to my swollen belly. My eyes occasionally glanced over the monitor next to me, seeing my child’s heart beating.
Vegeta stayed by my side since we got there. I could tell he was scared and nervous like I was. He just did a better job at hiding it than I did. Rosie was at my other side, pacing back and forth every now and then. Piccolo remained in the corner of the room with his arms folded. A contraction came every five minutes now. The nurses would come in and out of the room to check the monitors and occasionally ask if I was okay.
My doctor had finally come in, with a smile on her face. “Hello Miss Megan. I’m going to take a quick look down there and make sure everything is as it should, okay?” I tiredly nodded my head as she lifted the blanket up onto my knees. Vegeta eyes the doctor carefully, as if making sure she wouldn’t make a wrong move or something.
“Okay, it looks like you are about ten centimeters. I’m going to call the nurses in and get you pushing.” Dr Torrez stood up as she pressed the nurse call button. “This is it.” I mumbled to myself as my eyes stayed glued to the ceiling. It was time to have this baby. Vegeta squeezed my hand, causing me to turn to him with a smile. “Are you ready?” Vegeta smirked with a small chuckle. “I should be asking you that.”
Within moments, four nurses came into the room, preparing everything for when the baby comes. One of the nurses placed my feet into stirrups and turned on a bright light so the doctor could see better. Rosie squeezed my other hand as Dr. Torrez put on her mask and gloves. “Alright, I’m going to tell you when to push.” I felt another contraction and that’s when the doctor told me to push.
Training and fighting our enemies was nothing compared to this. My bottom half felt like it was on fire and my whole body was being torn to shreds. “You’re doing good, I can see the head! One more big push!” Vegeta held my hand tightly as Rosie rubbed my shoulder. “You can do it!”
I took a deep breath and pushed as hard as I could until I felt the immense pressure subside, followed by a cry. “It’s a boy!” Dr. Torrez held my baby as she motioned for Vegeta to come cut the cord. He hesitantly walked over and cut the cord between me and my son. I saw a proud smirk on his face as he stared down at our son. The nurse gently placed my baby boy on my chest. He had a full head of hair! It was spiky like Vegeta’s but he had a few strands of bangs frame his forehead. Though it was a bit of a darker brown from his fathers.  Of course, he had a tail as well.
“He’s perfect.” I smiled at my crying baby, with sweat rolling down my head. That was when I felt another contraction hit. “Round two everyone!” The nurse quickly picked up my baby boy and placed him in tray and began to go to work on him. “Wait, what’s going on?” Rosie looked between the nurses and myself. “Surprise.” I tiredly chuckled, then soon went back to listening for the doctor to tell me to push. The pain from before started all over again as well as the process.
Soon enough I heard another baby cry and the doctor say, “It’s a girl!” Vegeta again cut the cord, this time his eyes never leaving the baby. “A girl…” I could see he mumbled to himself as they placed her on my chest as well. She looked just like me, with her long brown hair the same shade as mine. My baby girl also had a tail swishing from side to side as she cried. My eyes looked at Vegeta who was now by my side, and I could tell that he was trying to hold back the tears.
With what little energy I had left, I grabbed his hand with a tired smile. “Do you want to hold her?” Vegeta cleared his throat as he nodded his head. He carefully picked her up and examined her. “She looks just like you…”  I laid my head back on the pillow, having no energy left to hold it up.
“Have you decided what you want to name your babies?” One of the nurses asked as she held a clipboard. Another one of the nurses came back with my baby boy wrapped in blanket, who seemed to have calmed down.
“Burlock.” I looked at the boy in my arms with a smile. “His name is Burlock.” Vegeta smiled down at me as he held our baby girl.
“Her name will be Luna.” He spoke up as he cradled our girl. We had thought a few names but we came to an agreement that I would pick the boys name and he would pick the girls.  Rosie stood on the other side of me with tears streaming down her face. “They are beautiful, Megan. I wish you told me you were going to have twins. I would have had you all set up!”
“Don’t worry, Ro. I wanted it to be a surprise. Besides, you have been one of the best godmothers I can ask for.” Rosie smiled as she gave me a gentle hug. “I’m proud of you.” She said as she stepped back. “We will leave you two alone for a bit.” Rosie motioned for Piccolo to follow her as they quietly walked out of the room. The number of nurses has dwindled down to just two in the room, probably for taking care of our babies.
The bed was dented as Vegeta sat down by my side with Luna. “They’re beautiful…” I looked between are now two sleeping babies. My head rested against Vegeta’s shoulder as I let out a yawn. “Rest. You deserve it.” Vegeta spoke softly as he slowly swayed the baby asleep in his arms. I held onto Burlock as my eyes slowly closed, sleep overcoming my senses.
