Tonight's the night. Tonight I am taking Chaeyoung out on a date, well at least for me it's a date. I had overheard her and her sister talking about Lisa being out town so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to ask Chae out. I didn't think I would be able to work up the courage to ask her out, but I did and she said yes. Thank God. I know what you're probably thinking, 'Jisoo she's a married woman.' I am well aware that she is married and has kids, but I've have been in love with Chaeyoung for over a year. To me there is no other person that can compare to her, she is simply perfect. If you didn't know I got Jennie the job babysitting for Chaeyoung and Lisa, I mostly did because I would be able to see Rose more than twice a week, but also because Jennie needed a job. If only Lisa could do something so fucked up that Chaeng would divorce her, I thought I might had a chance when Chae told me about that Irene girl, but I was wrong. Hopefully tonight goes well enough that there could be a second date.
After getting dressed, I went to my mom's room to ask her if she had work because if she didn't I was gonna take the car. I have been saving up to get one, but I'm still three paychecks away from it. I knocked on her door and heard a come in. "Hey mom do you have work tonight?" She turned her attention away from the tv to look at, "Why? Do you need the car?" I shook my head yes. "Well you're in luck because I don't have work so enjoy." I ran over to the bed and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Thank you! Thank you!" Then I ran out the room, grabbed the keys and left. The whole car ride over there I was practicing what to say to her when I got there, I don't think I have ever been this nervous in my life.
I pulled into her driveway right on time, I shook my hands to dry them from being so sweaty, then I got out of the car and made my way to the front door. I rang the doorbell then knock twice, after a minute Chaeyoung's sister opened the door with Leo on her hip. "Hi I'm Jisoo, we meet at the cafe." I put my hand out for her to shake and she took, "I'm Alice, you're here for Chaeng right?" "Yes, yes I am." She opened the door wider for me to come in, "She should be done in a minute." I just nodded not knowing what to say or do. "So how long have you known Rose?" I took a breath, "Oh well she has been my professor for two years, but we have been friends for I guess a year and half." When she was about to say something back an angel came down the stairs. My jaw dropped she looked, well I don't have words to say how good she looked. I didn't realize she was talking to me until she snapped her fingers in my face. "Oh! Sorry what were you saying?" She chuckled, I could listen to her laugh forever. "I was asking if you are ready to go." She said with a fucking heart stopping smile. "Yes after you." I lead her to the car and open the door for her then we were off.
We got to Hongdae in less than 30 minutes, I got out first and ran around the car to open the door for her. "Thank you." She said with that smile again. "No problem." We walked into a huge warehouse that had four rooms in it, each with a different theme of art and music. "Is there any specific room you want to start in?" I asked her. She look around and then at the program we got when we first walked in. "Um let's do... the sculpture room." I nodded, "Well lead the way Rose." She started to walk and I followed, we walked into the room filled with different kind of abstract sculptures, "Wow this place is amazing. How did you hear about it?" She was looking around the room. "My friend, Mina, told me about it. She was supposed to be in the dance room doing ballet but she sprained her ankle at practice, so she can't dance tonight." Chaeyoung's face had a look of concern on it, "I'm sorry to hear that, I hope she's ok." "She will be, she's a trooper." We continued to look around the room at all of the sculptures till we made it back where we started. "So what's next?" She asked me. "I was thinking we could check out the dance room and watch the dancers." "Works for me."
We went into the room and the lights in the center of it were dim, "Let's get closer to the dancers." She pulled my arm excitedly and all I could do was smile go with her. She was watching the dancers but I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. I finally broke my stare when I heard her speak. "We should go to the photography room after this." Slightly embarrassed that she caught me staring at her all I did was nod. She lead the way again and walked a little behind her just watch her walk. You people probably think I'm a pervert, but have you seen her? She is literally a goddess. "Hey there's a Photo Booth, do you wanna go take a picture?" I was stunned by her question, but I wouldn't miss a chance to take a picture with the love of my life. "I would love to." After taking our pictures and walking around to see all the photos that lined the inside of room, we made our way to the last room. The silent rave.
We got to the entrance and the and the attendant gave us each a pair of headphones. Walking through the door there was flashing strobe lights, people dancing with and on each other, but it was completely silent. We put our headphones on and were transferred to different world. I grew some balls and pull Chaeyoung's hand to take her to the middle of crowded dance floor. We were dancing together like to crazy people, but then the song changed to a more sensual beat so I put my hands on her waist and brought her closer to me. I was surprised she didn't protest, but instead started grinding with me. It felt like we were the only people in the room, we were looking each other in the eyes still grinding. I slowly started to lean in to kiss her then the music changed again and we disconnected our bodies. Chaeyoung took her headphones off so I did as well, "I think we should get going, I can't leave my sister with Leo all night." I just nodded and followed her out.
The car ride back to her house was quiet, when I pulled into her driveway she didn't wait for me to open the door. I got out and walked her to her doorstep, "I had a really fun time with you tonight and I would love to do it again." She told me but I felt like there was a but coming but she didn't say anything else. "I had a lot fun too. If you're not busy next week when your sister is, would you like to go to lunch?" There was almost a minute of silence before she answered. "Yeah I would like that." She smiled "Great. I'll see you next week in class have a good rest of the night Chaeyoung." I leaned in and kissed her check then turned away and walked quickly to my car so I didn't have to see her reaction.
That night I had some of best sleep of my life.
Chaeyoung's POV
HOLY SHIT.
She just kissed me and I wasn't mad, like at all. I walk into the house and Alice was standing there in the hall.
"You do know you are married right."
Great now I'm really screwed.
