Lisa had just finished getting dressed, she was wearing a white patterned collared shirt, tucked into a pair of high waisted orange dress pants, she finished it off with a high ponytail and light make up. She walker over to Chaeyoung who was putting her dress on, "Do you want me to zip you up?" Chaeyoung nodded. Lisa finished and kissed Chae's shoulder, just when she was about to turn her around to kiss her the doorbell rang. "That must be Jennie, go let her in while I finish my make up." "Ok"
Lisa walked down the steps slowly, starting to sweat because she was nervous to see her. She got to the door and with a shaky hand she turned the nob and was standing face to face with the girl she shouldn't have fell in love with. "H-hi, come in Leo is in his room playing and Chaeyoung is upstairs." They stood in awkward silence before Lisa finally decided to stop being a pussy and broke the silence. "I'm excited for you to come with me to Busan this week." Lisa said loud enough only for Jennie to hear. Jennie turned to look at Lisa then walked away into the living room. Lisa followed after her to find her sitting on the couch.
"We shouldn't talk about that right now especially tonight." Jennie pulled out her phone so she wouldn't have to look at her. "Jennie I was serious when I said I wanted to show that I care about you. I want Busan to be just about us, hell I'll skip my meetings if you want me to and we could just spend the week together exploring Busan and what we feel for each other." Jennie finally looked up but she was not happy, "Lisa please stop. I am not gong to talk about this with you tonight and my friend Nayeon is gonna pick me up when you get back so no need for a ride. Also I think it would be best if we didn't see each other until Busan, so don't look for me at the cafe this week." Jennie look back down at her phone. Lisa was about to say something but stopped when she heard Chaeyoung and Leo coming down the steps.
"Hi Jennie, how are you?" Chaeyoung smiled at her while putting Leo down. "I'm good. How are you?" Chae moved closer to her wife and wrapped her arms around her waist, "I'm great." She kissed Lisa on cheek. Jennie notice how Lisa's body went stiff. "Chaeng we should get going, our reservation is at 7 and it's already 6:30." Chaeyoung let go of Lisa, "Ok let me just get my purse and we can go." She left and came back not a minute later. As they were walking to the door Chaeyoung turned around to say bye to Jennie, "Ok we're leaving now, he's been sick this past week so just give him his medicine that's on the kitchen counter before you put him to sleep. Call us if you need anything. Chae turned to look at Leo, "And you mister you better be good for Jennie, do you understand." The boy nodded and kissed both his parents before they walked out the door. As soon as the door closed behind them Leo ran away into the living room and Jennie let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
Lisa and Chaeyoung got to the restaurant right on time. They walked through the door and were taken to their table, the same table they have been eating at for twelve years. The place was a Thai restaurant, that Lisa had brought Chaeyoung here on their first date when they were sixteen. It had quickly become Chaeyoung's favorite place after the first bite. "So are we getting the usual or are we gonna try something new?" Lisa asked her wife that looked extremely excited, but she's always excited when it comes to food. "What do you think?" Chae answered back with a small smile. "The usual it is." Lisa called their waiter over and ordered their usual: Tom yum goong, Pad Thai, and Tom Kha Kai.
While they were waiting for their food Lisa decided to spark up a conversation. "So are you excited for your sister to visit?" Chaeyoung was taken back by this question because Lisa could care less about Alice. "Um yeah I'm excited I haven't seen her in person in almost five months." Lisa remember that last time Alice was here she tried to convince Chaeyoung that she was cheating on her with Irene. "Good. I hope you guys can catch up and she can spend sometime with her nephew. Hopefully she doesn't try to turn you or him against me again." Lisa chuckled, but Chaeyoung was not laughing. "Lisa could we not do this here especially on our anniversary." Chae said a little irritated. "I was just joking calm down."
