The Babysitter (Jenlisa x Chaelisa x Chaesoo)

Forty-four

One Week Later at Chaeng's House...

"Ok, so everything he needs is in his suitcase and his favorite stuff animal and the Nintendo switch are in his book bag." Chaeyoung told Lisa as they stood in the hallway in front of the front door of Chaeyoung's house. 

"Ok cool." Lisa paused before talking again. "I was thinking that maybe you should call your sister to stay with you since I'll have Leo for two weeks and I don't want you to be alone." Chaeyoung scoffed. "You should've thought of that before you cheated." Lisa looked down and shook her head.

 "I really need you to stop holding that over my head Chaeyoung." She looked back up and faced her ex-wife. "I fucked up ok. Yes I cheated on you and I'm sorry but you need to move on from this, from me and what I did. I still and will always care about you and your wellbeing so call your sister to come help you out and I'll see you in two weeks." 

Lisa picked up Leo's bag and called out to him to leave. "Say bye to your mom, Leo." Leo ran up to Chaeyoung and she scooped him up in her arms. "Bye baby boy, be good for you dad and have fun with your grandparents." Leo nodded and kissed his mom's cheek then hopped down out of her arms and kissed her stomach. "Bye mommy, bye baby brother." Lisa and Leo walked out the door and to her car where Jennie was waiting for them.

Lisa put Leo's bags in the trunk with rest of their stuff the got in the driver's seat. "Ready?" Lisa asked. Jennie and Leo both nodded and Lisa started the car then drove away.

After Lisa left with Leo, Chaeyoung sat in her living room contemplating taking Lisa's advice and calling her sister. She didn't want to be alone but she also didn't want to hear her sister say 'I told you so'  She decided to suck it up and call her sister, because it was for the best, so she picked up her phone and dialed her number.

'Hello Rosie, what's up?' Alice answered the phone after ringing for a minute.

'Hi big sis, I was wondering if you would be able to take two weeks off from work and come and stay with me.' Chaeyoung asked her sister.

'Why do I need to stay with you? Where's Lisa and Leo?' 

'Lisa took Leo to Thailand for two weeks.'

'And why didn't you go with them?'

'It's a long story that I don't want to explain over the phone. So can you come or not?' There was some silence on the line for a moment before Alice answered.

'Sure, I'll be there in a couple hours. And you have some serious explaining to do.'

'I know, I'll see you in a couple.'  She ended the call.

After three hours there was a knock on Chaeyoung's front door, she got up then went to the door, looking through the peephole and seeing it was her sister. Chaeng opened the door and fell into Alice's arms and broke down. 

"Oh Rosie, what happened?" Alice picked Chaeng's head up and wiped her tears. "Sh-she left me." Alice helped Chaeng walk to the living room and sat her down then went and got a glass of water. "So she left and took Leo with her?" Alice asked when she came back from the kitchen.

Chaeyoung shook her head. "We've been divorced for three months, now. We have a custody agreement that allowed her to take Leo for the planned vacation we had to visit her family." Alice  sat down next to her sister and held her hand. 

"What happened? You seem like you were happy and you're pregnant." Alice paused. "That asshole left you when you are pregnant. I'll kill her." Chaeng chuckled on the last part. "She cheated on me... with our babysitter. And now she's dating her and living together."

Alice gasped. "That fucking bastard." Alice couldn't believe her ears. "How long and why didn't you tell me?" Chaeyoung leaned back on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. "When I found out they had be sleeping together for four months. And I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hear I told you so." 

"I wouldn't have done that, I could've been here for you and helping you with Leo and the pregnancy." Chaeyoung nodded. "I know, but I was embarrassed. I mean how could I not have known, I'm so stupid." Alice shook her head. "You are not stupid. Lisa is many things, an asshole, jerk off, bastard, a good father, but most of all she is a master manipulator and there was no way you could've known."

Chaeyoung place her hands on her baby bump that was starting to show. "She is a good father, but I still don't understand how she could agree to have another child but then divorce me." Alice giggled. "Out of all the things I just said that's all you heard, unbelievable." Alice stopped talking and turned to look at her baby sister.

"Be completely honest with me Roseanne Park." Chaeng snapped her head in Alice's direction after hearing her full name. "If Lisa didn't give you divorce papers would still be with her." Chaeyoung closed her eyes and answered. "Yes, because she's still the love of my life."

Alice placed her hand on Chaeyoung's knee. "Did she ever say how she feels about this girl she left you for." Chaeng nodded. "She tells me that she loves her and that she fell out of love with me."  Alice took a breath. "My mission for the next two weeks is to help you get over this asshole. I'm not saying you need to be fully over her but the closer we can get to you getting over her the happier you'll become. So what do you say, are you in?" Chaeyoung nodded.

"I'm in."
