Thirty-Two

It was finally Friday and Chaeyoung had her doctors appointment that Lisa was going to. The whole week she had been avoiding Jisoo, after their kiss she was so confused. She was still in love with Lisa, but she knows she has to move on especially because Lisa already had. The kiss she shared with Jisoo, she felt something she just didn't know what she felt. The kiss with Lisa, she knows she shouldn't have fell back into it but when you're with someone for almost thirteen years there will always be feelings.

After picking up Leo she went home and packed his bag and some snacks so he could eat while waiting for the appointment to be over. When she finished she got Leo back in the car and left to her appointment. Chaeyoung had Leo on her lap in the waiting room while he played his game. She finally gave it back to him after his cursing slip up, she made him promise never to say it again. Chaeyoung pulled out her phone to text Lisa, but put it away when she saw her get off the elevator.

"Hey buddy." Lisa leaned down and kissed Leo on top of his head. "Hey, how are you?" Lisa looked Chaeyoung in the eyes. Before she could answer a nurse came out from the behind the desk. "Park Chaeyoung?" Chaeyoung put Leo down and he was fast to be picked up by his dad, she walked over to the nurse who lead her and Lisa to the room. "You can lay down and the doctor will be in shortly." Chaeyoung thanked her and sat on the down on the chair. 

"So this is the heart beat and if you guys want I can tell you the sex of the baby." The doctor told Lisa and Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung looked at Lisa. "I'm not the one carrying if you want to know I will be ok with that and if you want it to be a surprise that's ok too." Chaeyoung look back at the doctor. "I wanna know." The doctor nodded and look at the screen. "Ok Chaeyoung so I happy to tell you that you will be having a..." He paused for dramatic affect. "Drumroll please Lisa, you are having a boy!"

"YES!!!" The doctor and Chaeyoung both snapped their heads to Lisa who now had Leo on her shoulders jumping up and down. "I'll leave you three." The doctor then walked out of the room leaving an ecstatic Lisa and a confused Chaeyoung. "I take it you're happy?" Lisa put Leo down. "Happy is an understatement." She kneeled down so she was at eye level with Leo. "Leo did you hear the doctor? You're gonna have a little brother!" Leo ran over to his mom and hugged her tight. "Did you want a boy or are you just happy?" Lisa walked over and sat at the end of the exam chair. "If I'm being completely honest I really wanted a boy, so yeah I'm really happy about this." Chaeyoung nodded. "I wanted a boy too" "So do have any names picked out?" Chaeyoung thought for a second. "I have one that I really like, but it's a secret." Lisa chuckled. "Oh come on, you're really not gonna tell me?" Chaeyoung nodded. "Ok well I guess Leo and I should get going. Leo say bye to your mom." Leo said bye and they both left.

Lisa pulled up in front of Jennie's house noticing that her mom's car was still there. Jennie came out of the house a little faster than previous times. She got in the car and kissed Lisa and told her to drive. "Why were you in such a hurry?" Jennie took a breath. "My mom apparently had the day off and wanted to spend it with Jisoo and I but I got out before we could make plans." Lisa turned and looked at Jennie. "You should be spending time with your mother, especially because you never get to see her." Jennie rolled her eyes. "Yeah but I rather spend time with you away from this city where we can just be us without any judgement." Lisa nodded. "I understand that, but if your parent who is never around has a chance to spend time with you, you should take it." Jennie rolled her eyes again. 

"How was Chaeyoung's appointment?" Lisa knew Jennie was trying to change the subject, but she just decided to let it go. "It was really good. Everything is ok and we are having, I'm sorry she is having a boy." Jennie looked over at Lisa who was focusing on the road. "Really!?" Lisa nodded. "I'm so happy for you, I know that's what you wanted." Lisa smiled. "Thanks, I am really happy, Leo is too." She motioned her head to Leo who was asleep in the backseat. "So do you have any names picked out?" "Chaeyoung does but she says it's a secret so I guess we'll just have to wait." Jennie nodded and placed her hand over Lisa's who was on the gear shift. "What do you have planned for this weekend?" Lisa thought for a second. "Well I told Leo I would take him out on the boat this weekend so maybe will just sail around, we can also go handle some of your school stuff at Pusan." "Works for me." Lisa pulled into the parking garage of her old office building. She told someone to bring Jennie and Leo's bags to helicopter, then she got Leo out of the car and held Jennie's hand on the whole ride in the elevator with Leo in her other arm. They got on the helicopter and were off.
