We talked more on the way to Sir's agency complex, and I explained my life story as coherently as I could while feeling like I was moving separately from the car, and eventually even Amajiki joined in. Togata told me I could call him Mirio, and I learned that his quirk was Permeation, which makes him able to pass through things. He showed me by activating his quirk through his hand and asking me to hold his hand, and when my hand passed through his, I grabbed his arm and tried to put his hand on my face, to see if I could feel it at all. I sat there with his hand disappearing into my cheek for a solid minute before he solidified it again. I placed it on my cheek and smiled at him, and he turned pink and laughed. He asked me to show him some of my quirks, so I disappeared from his sight while he held my cheek, and he moved his hand around to feel that I was still there. He kept touching my eyes, so I put his hand back on my cheek and he felt around my nose and mouth. I wasn't too fond of that either, so I moved it onto Miso, and he laughed as she pulled his hand into her for some love.

We got to the complex in one piece, and when we went to get out, the world felt like it was spinning like a top. I couldn't walk easily so I latched to the blond for help as we made our way inside and up to their laboratory where my investors waited. Mirio handed me off to Uncle Tai who led me to a table and sat me down. He handed me a bag of something I couldn't read, assuming I was hungry and that's what was wrong with me. It was only when Sir came in to start minor tests that anyone seemed to notice something else was wrong. He opened up my eyes and shined lights in them while I shoveled some kind of crunchy snack in my mouth.

"June, what did you have to eat today?" He grabbed the blood drawing kit he'd set to the side and put it on the table before helped me take my sweater and Miso off. I sat there thinking a moment before rattling off all of my little snacks throughout the day. "Okay, and where did you get the homemade baked goods?"

"From the clerk at the hotel I was staying at." He applied the tourniquet and had me hold it in place while he found my vein and put in the needle.

He released the tourniquet and the blood flowed quickly, "Alright, did the food have numbers or instructions on them?" He pulled off the first vial and put on another one.

"No, but he told me to eat them slowly, and wait between eating them, which I did. I ate the cookie first and then napped and then ate the brownie, like he suggested."

He took the vials he'd filled and put them in a small machine, continuing to pull information from me, "Okay, did he suggest to wait between eating the sweets, or wait between bites?" The machine turned on and started spinning furiously while he held it to keep it stable.

I thought for a minute, trying hard to remember, "I'm not sure, why?"

Sir placed a little urine test cup next to me. "Because you look and sound high, June. Now, could you go to the bathroom for us please? Bubble Girl can help you find it and take the cup from you when you're done." I looked over and saw the light blue woman walking towards us. She stuck out her hand and I grabbed it, thanking her as we walked towards the bathroom.

When everything was done I followed her to a side room in the lab that had stairs and an elevator. The elevator ride was fun, and we both laughed as I sank to the floor, feeling like I was being crushed under the force of gravity. The ride ended and the doors opened to what looked like a hospital wing. Bubble Girl led me into a room with an examination table and asked that I change into the medical gown sat atop the table. She left and I changed, telling her she could return when I was done. Once she was back in she asked me to sit on the table so she could examine me. She tested my reflexes, lungs, blood pressure and looked at my ears. After writing down the information she pulled a set of stirrups out of the table and asked me to put my feet in them.
