My blood already felt like it was boiling when I opened the door. I felt like a rabid animal ready to attack their prey. She looked kind of shocked to see me, but also kind of not.

"Why are you here?" I snarled at her.

"I could ask you the same question." She said walking into the house, as if it were her own. I glared at her as she walked by me and into the kitchen. I closed the door and followed her.

"Why are you here?" She asked, grabbing a cup filling it with water. I placed my hands flat on the counter.

"I don't have to answer any of your questions." I said still enraged that she was here. She finished her water and put the cup down on the counter.

"I'm just going to guess that you still work here. Clean that for me." She said waving her hand to the cup. I was really ready to throw some hands. I stood up straight and crossed my arms, raising and eyebrow at her.

"I'm going to fuc-" Before I could finish my sentence, Colby walked down.

"Hey, Nanc. Who was it?" He asked, then looking up and seeing her.

"Scarlett?" He asked with shock on his face. He looked to me and I shrugged.

"Why are you here?" He asked her. She pushed past me and walked up to him. She put her hand on his arm.

"To see you, silly." She said to him. I felt my face become red with anger.

"Well, you see, that's not gonna work." I said walking over and pulling her hand off of him.

"Why don't you just run off, okay hun?" She said to me.

"Oh yeah, I totally would but I really don't trust you to be around my husband." I put a lot of emphasis on husband. She laughed.

"Husband? There is no way-" I put my hand up to show her my ring. Colby followed and put his hand up too. She stopped laughing and looked at our rings.

"Those aren't real." She said rolling her eyes. I sighed.

"We are married, ya dumbass." I said. She scoffed at me. She looked at Colby.

"Really?" She asked. He nodded.

"We got married yesterday." He said. She put her hand up to her head.

"Wow, I really am an ass." She said. I nodded.

"I agree!" I said. Colby tilted his head at me and gave that 'really' look.

"What? She finally says something that's true and I can't agree?" I asked. Colby nudged me as if to say now wasn't the time. I rolled my eyes.

"Fine." I sighed. I crossed my arms, pouting like a five year old who didn't get candy.

"Scarlett, you are not an ass. You didn't know." Colby said trying to make her feel better.

"I'm sorry." She said. I was shocked when those two words came out of her mouth.

"It's okay." Colby said comforting her. I shook away the shock and glared again.

"She isn't really sorry." I said under my breath.

"What?" Colby asked.

"Nothing." I said back. He shrugged and walked her to the living room. I glared at her as they walked away. I walked in and sat next to Colby. They just talked and talked about random things. Laughing, a lot. I sat with my arms crossed the whole time. Colby looked at me and nudged me again.

"Hey, can we talk?" He asked. I nodded.

"Please." I said and got up to walk out. He followed and we walked out into the kitchen.
