Back to normal as in Nancy's POV
Today was the day we were going to find out if our kid was a girl or boy. Sam and Liza had been planning this for a few days and the suspense has been killing me. The event was going to take place in the evening so we still had to go through the whole day. It felt like it was taking forever. I cleaned, Colby made videos, then we got ready when it was almost time to leave. Sam had texted Colby a specific address to go to and we had never seen it before. So, when the time came we finally drove to the location. We were pulling up to the address and there was nothing. It was just an empty parking lot. Colby and I looked at each other.
"Is this the right place?" I asked him.
"It's the one Sam gave me. I'll text him and see if he gave us a wrong one." He said. I nodded. I looked around and saw something in the distance. I poked Colby.
"What?" He asked. I pointed to the object.
"What's that?" I asked. Colby squinted looking at where I was pointing.
"I can't tell. It's too dark out." He said. I was very curious and bored waiting for Sam to respond so us so I unbuckled.
"Where are you going?" Colby asked me.
"To check out the thing." I said.
"No, it's dark out there. Just stay here." He said.
"No, I'm bored. Please? Please? Please?" I said. Colby rolled his eyes. He knew he wasn't going to win this fight.
"Fine, be carful. Okay?" He asked. I nodded.
"Okay." I said getting out. I pulled out my phone and turned on the flashlight. I started to walk to the thing. Once I got closer and closer I finally found out what it was. It was a stroller with a piece of paper on it.
Look behind you, Nancy.
I was really creeped out. I slowly turned around and looked behind me.
"Surprise." Sam whispered before putting a bag on my head. I squirmed around.
"Sam, let me go!" I yelled.
"No! You can't know where we are going." He said. I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see me.
"Okay, did you get Colby?" I asked.
"Yeah, don't worry. We are taking you guys on a fun adventure." He said. We walked to the car. It wasn't easy. I would stumble over things that I couldn't see and Sam would stumble over things that weren't visable in the night. It was a rough walk to the car. Once we were finally there, he pushed me in pretty rough.
"Hey! Watch it, Sam!" I said. He took a sharp inhale.
"Sorry, have to make it seem like you're being kidnapped." He said. I rolled my eyes again and kinda chuckled. Sam kept the bag over my head and tied my hands up. He apologized again for the roughness. (Boy, does this sound kinky) we started to drive to wherever Sam was taking me. Colby was in a different car, I could tell cause it was really quite on the drive over. Because one of my senses was taken away, it heightened all of my other senses. I could feel every bump in the road. Every turn we made, even if it was the softest of turns. Every stop we had to make. My hearing was high too. I could hear the wind whistling as we flew threw the air. My guess was that Sam was in a bit of a rush. I could hear all the other cars drive by or as we drove by other cars. The honks in the distance or even the ones that could have been for us. It was a weird experience but eventually we arrived at the location.
"Okay, we're here." Sam said as he opened and closed his door. He walked over and opened my door and helped me out.
"You know, if anyone is around us it won't look good." I said. Sam chuckled.
