You Are Perfect Too

I and Maris decided to go out for lunch. I figured out that Maris is extremely introvert and kinda bad at dealing with new people unless it is for buisness. It was a little awkward for me at first but now I have started liking his peaceful and nature.

Aden was really confused at first. He took a while to process that his best friend and his sister are mates. He was feeling protective towards both of us, so at the end he just accepted us with open arms.

Right now I am in my room with Maya ( Aden's mate ) getting dressed for my date.

"OMG! Stella you look awesome" , Maya yelled jumping up and down.

I was wearing a camera print crop top which didn't hide my belly piercing, light blue denim shorts and a pink denim ripped jacket. I paired my outfit with black combat boots and a tat bit of makeup. I held my hair in a messy bun and hid a silver dagger in my boots.

From past few weeks there have been frequent rouge attacks. Non of them was able to cause any harm to our pack but the thing that bothers me the most is that they all were targetting me.

I am confident with my fighting skills. I have improved a lot in the past few weeks and the best part is that I have started discovering a few of my powers. Mrs. Romans is really of a big help.

After I was done getting ready I went downstairs in the pack kitchen to get some water.

I was greated with the giggles of small pups running around the pack house. So I also started playing with them and also made them pancakes.

I love kids. Everything about them is so pure and honest. I always remember my days as a kid when I see these pups. I want to return to those times when I was a kid without the worries of the world. All I had to do back then was play, eat and sleep.

Maris's POV:-

I am really excited today as I and Stella are going on a date. This is our first date and so I want to make it special.

I was just asking Aden about a few tips for my first date with Stella when I smelled Stella's I toxicating scent. I looked around the hall to see my mate.

My eyes landed on a gorgeous view of my mate playing with a few pups. It was such a beautiful scenery I was totally lost.

Even my wolf Tethys got excited at the sight of our mate feeding pancakes to the small pups.

"We can't wish for a better mate". Tethys said behaving like a love sick puppy. I couldn't help but smile and nod at his words. He was right. Stella was sweet, loving, understanding, caring, beautiful and what not. I was already in love with her but we still had to win each other's trust.

I started towards my mate and the bundles of joy surrounding her. I kissed Stella's hand and we started heading towards my car.

"This place is really beautiful", Stella said with pure excitement and joy.

"You like it?", I asked a little bit nervous.

She looked at me wide eyes and said," Is that even a question? Of course I do".

I am really happy it is like a dream come true. After the rejection I thought that I will never be able to live a happy life. It was like all the dreams of a happy family I wanted were shattered but that was until I met this beauty.

She was so beautiful, She looked like a freaking goddess. Sometimes I feel so self conscious infront of her I don't know what in the world did I do to deserve her.

I was cut off my thoughts when Stella suddenly turned all serious. There was a different feeling in the air. The one I despise the most. I she going to reject me, am I not good enough , what is going to happen? I felt like my mind is going to explode because of the tension.

Stella sensed my mood and started comforting me.

" Hey! Don't tense it is not like you think it is. See I am just scared they you will reject me. I don't want to go through that pain again you are perfect and I need you. But the thing is I have secrets and a lot of them. I promise I will tell you everything but now is not the time"

It took me a while to process the information. She said she has secrets which she can't tell me? But why I am her mate she should tell me everything

"Look I know it is a little too much to ask for but just trust me Maris. We both have gone through the same pain and we both know how it feels like. Even I feel scared that one day you will come and rejected me out of the blue but still I am trying to do my best. You need to understand Maris at times like this we both need to understand, I need you Maris". She said with a pained look.

I felt guilty. I am her mate and I should understand her, I can't mess this up.

"I am really sorry Stella I know what you mean. And please never think that I will reject you ever please Stella my wolf whines at the thought of being apart from you for a day let alone reject you". I pleaded

She just smiled a loving smile and engulfed me in a hug full of love and passion.

I was so happy.

"And one more thing Stella" I said with as much love as I can.

She looked at me with a small smile

"You are perfect too".

Rest of the evening went by until suddenly I saw an arrow coming Stella's way.

Before I could respond Stella stopped the arrow just before it touched her head with her hand.

I really underestimated her. Her reflexes are better than our top worriers.

I jumped towards her and engulfed her in a protective hug. "Are you ok? Are you hurt somewhere?" I asked pure worry evident in my voice.

" Don't worry Maris I am fine but I think it's the time to tell everybody the truth I guess I and Aden have a lot of explanation to do" she said with a tired voice

" Indeed you have" I said with a you-guys-better-stop-keeping-things-from-me look.

We are going to have a long day. I thought to myself
