A man trekked through piles of dust and debris. Fog clouded the area, and he was careful not to trip over the scattered rubble. I have lost everything, The man thought to himself. His iron grip tightened around his sturdily built ax. He looked up and gazed into the foggy distance. As he squinted, he felt dried blood tug at his cheek. How foolish I was, not going for the head. He charged at a nearby rock and yelled at nothing but the now half-empty world. Bashing the hard surface with his ax, the rock crumbled to bits. The man fell to his knees. I am not worthy of being a god. I have failed my people and my family...The god instantly thought of his brother, Loki, the god of mischief. Although he had despised Thor for his greatness and fame, Loki deeply cared about Thor. And, after countless tricks and traps, Thor still loved Loki. Loki had potential that he didn't know about yet. But now, in the fading sunlight, there was no mischief. There was no Loki. Thor put his calloused hands to his temples and wept. Then, there, inside the seemingly empty ruins, was a sudden sound. It was muffled but sounded deep, almost like a voice. Thor lifted his head in wonder. What the? Slowly, he stood and shuffled to his feet. Squinting ahead, he saw a dark figure, held down by piles of debris. Thor ran over as fast as he could. "Hello! I'm coming! Are you alright!?" Panic lit up his voice. After making his way to the figure, he could see that whoever, or whatever, this figure was, was still alive. Using his mighty strength, Thor lifted heavy stone building remains off of the creature. He could now see that this was a person- a man. He had shoulder-length jet-black hair. "Excuse me," Thor began nervously. "Are you alright? Let me help you." The man didn't look up but grasped Thor's hand with one hand and used his other to attempt to push himself off the ground. He was able to stand, but he was weak. He stood face-to-face with Thor, though his messy hair masked his face. Thor reached out and brought his hand to the stranger's face to brush away the hair. Carefully brushing away the black strands of hair, he quickly realized that this was no ordinary man. "L-L-Loki?"
