"For all he's been through, I'm surprised twinkle fingers here isn't in worse of a condition."

"Be quiet, metal skull."

"Loki, relax. Tony is trying to help," Thor interrupted. The brothers had made their way to the Avengers tower, and stopped by Tony's lab. Thor wanted to be certain that he would not lose another soul close to him. Never again.

"Well if he intends to insult me, I will certainly feel worse." Loki sneered through closed teeth.

"I'm glad to see he hasn't lost his ego," Tony said while pointing a thumb at Loki. "Thanos wasn't exactly an easy boss fight."

"You underestimate me, Stark. I am capable of much you do not know," Loki said with a glint in his eye.

"Well you're always full of surprises aren't you. Oh, and he's gonna be fine, Thor. Some cuts and bruises, but nothing that won't mend over the next few weeks," Tony finished.

"Would someone care to explain to me where Thor and I will be staying? There isn't exactly an Asgard anymore," Loki asked impatiently.

"Oh right," Tony began. "Thor, I know I suggested an apartment but I personally think it's best for you both to stay here. Don't worry, it's free of charge, put your wallets away."

"He thinks he's so funny," Loki muttered.

"What was that?" Tony challenged, amusement in his eyes.

"Nothing of your concern, Stark," Loki faked an innocent smile.

Tony sighed. "Well it seems like you'll be great company. I look forward to working with you both."

"On what exactly?" Thor asked.

"In return for staying in the tower, you will help me test new tech and assist with missions," Tony answered.

Loki rolled his eyes but said nothing.

"Alright, Tony. That sounds fair. We can do that," Thor told him.

"Good. Now go rest. Seems like you both need it," Tony motioned toward the bedrooms.
