"No...no...." Thor muttered in his sleep. "I cannot lose them. I will have nothing." Sweat glistened on his forehead. He trembled ever so slightly and tossed on his other side whilst tightly gripping his pillow. "PLEASE!"
Tony suddenly burst into the bedroom. "Thor," he began urgently. He made his way over to the sleeping god. "Wake up!!"
Tony's iron grip suddenly pulled Thor from darkness. "Tony? Tony!" After struggling to free his wrists, Thor realized that it was only Tony who was standing above him. "Tony, I..." Thor struggled to find the correct words.
"Trauma. Thor, I know. It's alright," He released his grip on Thor's wrists. "How could you not suffer from trauma after almost losing the only family you have left?" He looked solemnly at the shaken god. "I know we all suffered a great deal of loss recently. Things will improve over time."
Thor evaluated his shaking fingers. "You are right, Tony. Although sometimes I wish I could erase these horrible memories from my mind," He put his palms over his eyes. "If only I could truly awaken from this nightmare."
"Good things await us," Tony started. "We have a lot of work ahead of us, although I think you'll soon realize just how much it'll pay off. Without your past- your memories, you are not you. Everything that has happened- it has shaped you. Don't fear the future, because we are here to shape it now," He opened the curtains to reveal a blazing sun peeking over the clouds.
