"What in Asgard..." Loki entered the kitchen only to find Tony skillfully flipping pancakes on the stove.

"Morning twinkle fingers. You're up bright and early." Tony caught a pancake in mid air as he greeted Loki.

"Don't call me that," Loki snapped while approaching the meal table. "You think you're so cool showing off, don't you?"

Tony laughed. "It's only eight in the morning and you're already this snappy? I guess you're feeling better then, huh."

"That would be so," Loki muttered in reply, taking a seat.

"You know," Tony paused from cooking. "Deep down you aren't such a bad person are you?" He went on with a smirk. "You act as though you don't care about anyone else, but you really do care about your brother."

"Don't be ridiculous," Loki shifted in his seat. "I'm here merely because I have nowhere else to go."

"Oh is that so?" Tony raised an eyebrow and returned to cooking. "Thor told me about your reunion. You actually apologized for your past deeds? Like I said, you aren't such a bad person, huh?" There was a glint of humor in his eyes. Clearly, Tony was enjoying himself.

"Enough!" Loki said rising from his chair, his face tinted with embarrassment.

"What's going on in here?" Thor yawned as he entered the kitchen. "You're making quite the commotion."

"Your friend intends to nag me nonstop," Loki said, sitting down and folding his arms. He gave Tony a sideways glare, his face still ever so slightly flushed.

"Oh, I was just having some fun," Tony said with a laugh. "Anyway, I hope you're all up for some pancakes." He turned off the stove.

"Absolutely," Thor responded enthusiastically. "Thank you for your hospitality, Tony."

"Think nothing of it," Tony approached the table with a plate of pancakes. "We made a deal remember? You will both stay here, and in return you will both assist me."

"I haven't forgotten," Thor replied, taking a seat at the table.

"While I'm not pleased with the arrangements, I will keep my word," Loki sighed.

"Oh come on, Loki. It won't be that bad. Plus, we'll get to see your skills alongside ours in combat," Thor said while eagerly reaching for one of the pancakes with his fork.

"Right, in your dreams," Loki snorted. He picked at the pancake on his plate.

"I must admit I'm quite curious myself," Tony began, finally taking his seat at the table. "What will you bring to the table in the field of combat? No pun intended of course," He studied Loki with his chin in hand.

"I'm quite the capable fighter, and I don't intend to let you two hold me back," Loki rolled his eyes. Also, you. Stop messing around."

"Never," Tony flashed a smile.

"So," Thor began, changing the subject. "What are we planning to do after breakfast?" He took a bite of the fluffy pancake.

"We will make our way to the command room and take things from there," Tony answered, also taking a bite of pancake.

"Sounds like a plan," Thor finished his plate. "Oh Loki, are you going to finish the rest of that pancake? If not I will gladly finish it for you."

"Oh, brother. How am I going to deal with the two of you every day?" Loki put a palm to his face.

It was bound to be an interesting day.
