When they say you can't
PROVE THEM WRONG.
When they say you'll never make it
PROVE THEM WRONG.
When they say you'll never be skinny
PROVE THEM WRONG.
When they say you're not smart
PROVE THEM WRONG.
When they say you'll never be successful
PROVE THEM WRONG.
And to the person who's biggest critic is you:
When you stand in front of the mirror and say, I'll never be beautiful
prove YOU wrong
When you tell yourself, I'm fat
prove YOU wrong
When you say you are ugly
prove YOU wrong
When you tell yourself you are a failure
prove YOU wrong.
God has made you just the way you are for a reason. You may think you're ugly, but God thinks you are His perfect creation. You may feel unloved, but God says, "I loved the world so much, I gave my only Son to save you." (John 3:16)
When people make you feel ugly, the Bible says, "So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for He is thy Lord..." (Psalm 45:11)
When you don't feel special, the Bible says, "For ye are bought with a price..." (1 Corinthians 6:20)
When you don't feel important, the Bible says, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation..." (1 Peter 2:9)
When you feel weak, the Bible says, "It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect." (Psalm 18:32)
You are loved. You cherished. You are not alone. You are blessed beyond measure, and even if it doesn't feel like it, you are loved by the God who created heaven and earth. Have a great day, and remember to smile, even when it seems hopeless. You got this.
