As Miss Arabella left, I saw how mom rashly walks towards me with her jaw clenched and slapped me as soon as she reached my side.

"You ignorant! Why did you refuse the offer!" She slapped me again as she grabs my hair and forcibly kneeled me to the floor.

I tried to stop her but she is too strong for me. I felt like I just finished a twelve-round boxing because of the sudden drain of my energy. "S-stop... Stop, Mom..."

"You will receive pain because of your decision! Why did you refuse the offer?" she yelled out of her lungs and I just looked down to the floor as my hands are trembling because of fear.

"B-because... Because I know I can't do it. Y-you said. You said I'm a failure, right?" I stumbled my words as I looked away from her eyes full of madness.

"You think I believe you? Tell me! You are busy flirting to Tristan and your grades that your father treasures sacrifices because of you, little whore!" she yelled whilst looking sharply at my direction as I looked at her with pain in my eyes.

How could she say that? Does she think I am a low-class whore that is busy flirting with other guys?

The tears that  I was fighting with were slowly drifting away from my eyes as I looked at her eyes and smile slightly. "Yes, Mom. You are right! I flirted with other guys in the academy and that's the reason why my grades are failing," I'm tired.  I'm tired explaining but she was just too narrow-minded to listen.

My cheeks turner red as she goes on my side and slapped me real hard. I looked at her with the mix of disbelief and pain in my eyes."How dare you! I am spending money for your studies and here you are! Busy to flirt and becoming a low-class whore!"

I snapped my head in annoyance as I heard Uncle Romel's laugh that is comfortably sitting on our couch.

"The little Cinderella is turning to a stupid bitch whore!" he said while playing with his pen as he was leaning to our sofa.

"Think and tell me what you think is right. I don't have a right to stop you from believing that bluff," I said as I have a little confidence to storm out to that centralized living room. "I'm tired... So tired, mom!"

As I went out to that scene, I directly went to my own room and looked at the stars that were painted on the ceiling.

I love to watched different stars that shine in the sky every night that is why my father surprised me with this beautiful ceiling.

"I know you are my star now, dad. I know you are watching me from the sky that separates us. Don't worry dad, I am not mad because she is right. I killed you and I'm sorry for that," I sighed as  I looked at the brightest stars on my ceiling teary-eyed.

"My princess, I have a surprise for you!" he exclaimed while I'm putting down my school bag on our couch.

My cheeks automatically uplift as he put a blindfold in my eyes. "What is this all about, daddy?"

I felt his hands on my arms that are guiding me upstairs "Where are we going, daddy?"

I heard his manly chuckled that brings joy to my life."It's a secret. We will go to your favorite place."

"You will remove that blindfold in the count of three, alright?" I heard a door that is open in a rush way that makes me giggle.

"In the count of three, my Princess," he said as I put my hands in the back of my head to reveal what is his surprise.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

As I heard the go signal, I already reveal his little surprise that makes my jaw-dropped with my eyes sparkling because of what I see.

My room was painted like a whole galaxy with a solar system on it and a star that brightly shines like it was real. My plain-pink ceiling was gone and it replaces with a galaxy that has a million stars that were really shining and have a complete constellation of stars on it.

I looked at my dad who has a wide-smiled on his face as he watches my epic reactions to his 'little' surprise.

I hug him real tight while having tears of joy in my eyes and a bright smile in my lips. "Thank you, daddy. I love you."

I felt his hands that caress my head as he kissed my forehead and looked directly in my eyes "Daddy loves his princess too."

I just smiled as he answered and savored the moment with him.

"If the time comes that I will leave you, just looked at your ceiling and you will feel how much I love you, my princess," he said as he stood up and smile before storming out to my room.

"How can I felt that love if I know that I am the reason why you need to leave this early?" I asked whilst taking a glanced to the brightest star in my ceiling.

"You are my own star, dad. And I hope that my star will never leave by my side. But I guess, all stars need to be faded in our own naked eyes." I added as I felt my eyelids are slowly making its way to rest.

"I love you, My princess," I heard before the darkness ate my senses.
