Aryl's POV

"You look so pretty, my princess. Just like your mom."

"I really love you, my princess."

"Of course, even though a young prince charming will ask my permission for the future. You will always be my princess!"

"I will always be proud of you."

"You are always my princess."

The images of the happy and memorable moments of me and my dad are sending back to my memories as I open my eyes to see his wide smile while waiting for his big arms that surround my petite body.

But the happy memories are slowly fading as the scenes are slowly changing. My father that has a smile on his face turns into an evil monster that was ready to swallow me hard.

I looked at his blazing mad eyes that were as red as the blood on his tuxedo and gripped my neck with his bare hands.

I tried to stop him but he keeps on choking me to death as I fought for my breath.

My loving and innocent dad becomes an evil monster who wants vengeance.

"You are worthless!"

" I hope you are the one who died."

"You killed me! So that I will kill you too!"

The darkness welcomes me the moment I open my eyes. The bullet sweats are forming in my forehead and trembling hands that were holding the blanket tightly when I glanced at every part of my four-corner room.

I tweak my hair before covering my own ears. I even covered my whole with my own blanket as my eyed roamed around the dark room.

I swallow a big lump building up on my throat as I open the lampshade that is on my side table. I closed my eyes while holding the part of my neck where my father choked me.

The memories of my nightmare are slowly playing back in my mind that causes my hands to shake in fear and guiltiness.

They are right.

My father...

My protector is mad at me because of what happened to him.

He just regretted what he was done.

He regretted that he sacricficed his life for just a worthless daughter like me.

I tried to composed myself and laid back again to bed to get my sleep back but the memories of his evil and angry eyes are hunting me down as the moment I close my eyes.

I rushed to cover myself with my blanket as I gazed in every part of my room when I felt that he is watching me intently and ready himself to attack as I have my eyes close.

I saw a silhouette of a man in front of my bed as my whole body was covered with the blanket.

"You are worthless!"

"You killed me so that I will kill you too!"

"You are a demon monster!"

"You are a murderer!"

I hastily covered my ears with both hands as the echoes of his voice are slowly penetrating to my mind.

"S-stop... Stop daddy, please. " I uttered as my hands are trembling and my knees are starting to shake.

"D-daddy... Daddy please." I pleaded whilst hugging the pillow in my bed and closed my eyes, trying to remove what is in my mind.

"Aryl!" I heard a woman's voice when the room's main light suddenly open and I heard footsteps that rashly walking to my direction.

I took a deep breath while slowly removing the blanket that was covering my whole and I saw how worried she is by panting as she walks towards me.

"What happened? I was passing by to check if the doors are properly locked but I heard your mumbles!" she exclaimed but I can't stop myself to hug her real tight.

"I saw him, Yaya. He also blames me for what happened. It's my fault." I tried to conquer my fear as I looked at her eyes.

She holds my trembling hands and gently caresses it. "It's not your fault."

I snapped my head in disagreement with what she said and glanced at her eyes. "I s-saw... I saw him. He said... He said he will kill me too... Because I killed him. "

Terrible horror ate my senses as I looked at the man who was beside me holding a gun.

"Are you okay?" she worriedly asked while patting my shoulders for me to relax.

"Yaya, he is here. Look at your back," I said as I watched him pointing a gun on me as the crimson red liquid was dropping on my room's floor.

She patted my head and hug me tight but my eyes wasted in his every step.

"D-daddy... Daddy, please... P-please stop!" I shouted as I glanced at him and pull a trigger of his gun.

I harshly closed my eyes and open it again after a second and don't see any traces of him that makes me calm.

I looked at her and tried to uplift my cheeks but it turns out to be a fake one.

She ruffled my hair and chucked then she turns to be a serious woman in front. "It's okay not to be okay, Aryl. Always remember that. I, as your Yaya, will always be here for you."

I surround my arms to her neck and the tears are slowly forming from my eyes. "Thank You, Yaya."

"Many people love you, okay. And I am one of them," she added as she squeezed my face and kissed my forehead when I nodded as my answer.

For the first time in a very long time, I lifted my cheeks in a genuine way."I love you too, Yaya."

"I am not alone to fight this trouble. I have a true person that loves me for who I am and loves me even though they know what have I done. I will fight, no matter what." I said to myself as Yaya walks towards the door to go to her own room.

I watched her every step that makes me smile.

"Thank you for loving me."
