Consternation had taken course, your eyes frantically glancing around as the darkness embraced every inch of your body.
There was no sight of Katsuki whatsoever despite the firm grip on your hand. That alone had given you some sort of reassurance as the two of you shifted through the black emptiness.
It felt as if you were floating for an eternity, but the reality of it was only a mere few seconds. Your mind was racing when visibility began to resurface, displaying a smokey surrounding.
Katsuki was a hacking mess when he surfaced to your left. You on the other hand struggled with footing, exhaustion taking toll over your body.
Two days without any sunlight really put a damper on yourself. You might as well be considered quirkless at the moment.
"Katsuki, are you alright?!" Your hand patted along his back in an attempt to help clear out whatever was left of that dark substance.
Just what in the hell was that?
The smoke that wafted around you both was already settling, it was then that you noticed the tall figure standing before you. There was a threatening vibe coming from him, sending a sickening feeling to your gut.
You couldn't help but squirm at the heavy gaze even though he was wearing a mask.
At least that's what it appeared to be.
"Sorry you two." Despite apologizing, he didn't really show any ounce of emotion when similar vortexes you and Katsuki vanished inside of appeared behind.
With Katsuki's grip on your hand tightening, you both watched as the league came plopping out of them, gasping at the fresh air the gunk didn't allow them to take in.
"You failed again, huh, Tomura?" The intimidating man had began walking towards Shigaraki, who happened to be knelt on the ground.
Was this his so called master?
"Don't be discouraged, just try again. I have brought your associates back as well. Even these children because you judged that they were an important piece. Do it over as many times as you need to, that is why I'm here. It's all for you."
Yeah, this defiantly was the guy.
A momentary silence had followed, he was looking up at the sky now, anticipating something-- or someone.
You had heard the blast before actually feeling it. The tremendous force of wind sent you and Katsuki back a few steps. The struggle to stand was immense, thankfully, Katsuki had gotten a good hold of you before you could go flying off.
You couldn't see or hear much because of the gushing wind, but one thing was for certain, All Might had finally showed up.
The winds were starting to get much harsher, a sudden force had struck your bodies sending you flying back. You felt as if you were a ragdoll with the way your limbs whipped about through the air. Katsuki's hold on you was lost, he too now soaring through the powerful gust.
The world around you was spinning rapidly, the sound of rushing air beating at your ears.
Eventually the wind had settled, leaving you bloody and bruised within the rubble. There was a ringing in your ear, along with a faint shout of your name.
