Chapter Thirty-Four| Confidential

"Thanks again for helping me out Ochako." A loud tear filled the room as she pulled back the packing tape, allowing her to take out the contents inside.

"It's no problem at all." She looked up at you with a smile, which you returned.

Today was the day everyone was moving into the dorms. It was exhilarating, but also a tad dreary. Mainly because of your Aunt, who broke out into tears once it was time for you to go. But after a final reassurance, she reluctantly set you free. Off into the world of hardship and self-sufficiency.

You'd be lying if you said you weren't nervous.

As a matter of fact, you were internally freaking out.

Yet, at the very same time you were excited, motivated even. Things were only going to get more serious from this point forward, your path to heroism now finally coming to light.

Especially with the Provisional license exam coming up.

You sorta forgot about that--

"There you are!" You both looked up from the pile of clothes, only to see the girls happily make their way into your room.

"I see you're almost done unpacking." Jiro spoke, leaning a shoulder on the frame of the door while Mina and Hagakure jumped atop of your bed.

You nodded. "Yeah it's coming along, I just need to organize these clothes."

"Well hurry it up, I have a fun idea!" You withheld an eye roll when Mina jumped onto her knees, motioning with her hands for you to fold faster.

Yeah no, you weren't going to do that.

"What's your idea?"Ochako had slowed her folding, watching from the corner of her eye as the pinkette continued to jump around the mattress.

"What if we do a room presentation contest?"

"You mean, with the guys?" Jiro piped up.

"Yeah! I'm pretty sure they're all hanging out on the main floor right now."

"Lets do it!"

"I'm down with that."

"What about you (Y/n)?" Your head turned at the question, meeting the many gazes behind you.

"Um, I'll have to pass. I still need to finish unpacking."

"Awe, come on. You can just shove it all in the dresser!" Hagakure whined.

"Don't worry about me, you all go on and have fun."

"Fine, but at least try to join in halfway."

"Yeah yeah, now if you can excuse me I have a bunch of random socks I need to pair."

Eyes falling back down to the mound of clothes, you listened to the pitter-patter of feet, the soft click of the door shutting following after.

You slumped, graciously leaning into the base of your bed with a sigh.

It wasn't until the chatter grew distant that you reached beneath the bed frame, only to pull out a bag. However, you didn't open it right away, but rather mentally talked yourself into doing it.
