"Come on, Y/N! It's your big day, come on!" I heard Sydney shout in our hotel room, Shelby and Shay in there too.

I woke up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Looking over at the clock, it read 6:45 AM.

"Why did you guys wake me up this fucking early?!" I said, a little cranky.

"Look, Y/N, it's your wedding day! You gotta get ready!" Shay said, pulling my arms to get me out of bed. My eyes glistened at the word 'wedding.' Then it clicked in.

Today was the day I was getting married to my best friend. Someone I've known almost my entire life. Someone who, for the past ten years, has been my number one priority. I dropped out of college to go to LA with him. I loved Zach so much. I couldn't imagine myself without him.

"Shay, you do makeup, I'll do hair, Shelby, you take pictures!" Sydney ordered, getting on the bed and beginning to do my hair.

After hours of pulling, brushing, and hairspraying, Sydney and Shay finished my hair and makeup. Then, it was time for the dress.

I put on the dress, knowing that in a few hours, my life would change forever. All of the years I've been with Zach flashed before my eyes as I slipped on the dress, adjusting a couple parts of it.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Sydney begin crying a little bit. I smiled as I ran over to her and hugged her.

"I'm just...in shock. You're so beautiful. Zach is so lucky to have you as his soon to be wife!" Sydney said through her tears as she hugged me.

"Sydney, you're amazing. There's a reason why you're my best friend and maid of honor. I honestly couldn't thank you more for helping me with this. I love you." I said, trying not to cry too. We pulled away, Shay and Shelby pulling us back in for another.

Today was a day I never thought would come. The day I would marry the most amazing, most perfect girl in the world. In the long ass time we've known each other and the countless times we've hung out, I don't think I've ever been as excited as I am today. She was in the other room of our condo on the beach as everyone was on the beach, waiting for the ceremony to start.

"Dude, lookin' sweet!" Cody said, Maxx and Dan nodding with them.

I looked down at my tux, smiling while just thinking about the special day. The day that would change my life. I looked around at my friends, more specifically my best man, Dan. Their suits matched each other's.

"Guys. I just wanna thank you guys for everything. For being my best friends and for helping me through this. I love you guys." I don't know why, but I could feel myself about to cry. Now that my wedding day was here, it made me realize how much these guys have done for me, not just for the past year, but in the long ass time we've known each other.

"Dude, don't sweat it. We were absolutely happy to help. We love you. So much." Maxx said, hugging me and patting my back. Cody and Dan nodded, walking over and hugging me too. I was so overwhelmed with every single emotion right now. What if I can't give her the life I promised her? What if she runs away and finds someone else? I definitely wouldn't intentionally physically harm her. That's one promise I will always, always keep.

There was a knock on the door. Dan went to open it, and Sydney was there.

"Guys, hey. So you ready? This thing's supposed to start in a few minutes!"

"Dude, you'll be fine. Don't sweat it. Go out there. We'll follow your lead." Cody said as he placed his hand on my shoulder, the other guys humming in agreement.

I took a deep breath and opened the door, walking down the steps and down the aisle to wait the front of the alter, Dan, Cody, and Max right behind me.

Finally, it was time. Opening the door, I walked down the steps, my little cousins being the flower girls as they pranced down the aisle, throwing blue and white flower petals every which way.

Everyone was staring at me, admiring my hair, dress, and makeup as my dad walked me down. I was shaking. I could see Zach crying, biting his lip as he looked at me. I swear I saw hearts in his perfect blue eyes.

After what seemed like forever, I was finally in front of Zach. I smiled at him, almost crying as my heart swelled at the thought of, in just a few moments, being Mrs. DeWall.

I'm not gonna lie, once Y/N was in front of me, I spaced out, going into auto pilot. Everything was a blur to me in that moment.

I zoned back in once I heard "You may now kiss the bride." I crashed my lips on hers, wrapping my arms around her small body. I couldn't be happier.

After what seemed like a century, we pulled away, facing the ocean of wedding guests, them cheering and applauding as loud as they could. Me and Y/N had the biggest smiles on our face, ready to start our new life together. Holding hands, we walked down that aisle together. And lived happily ever after.
