Hikaru P.O.V.
I walked through the halls of Ouran. I had spent pretty much the past week with Kairi. After all the bad things that had happened I was glad to have had a full week of nothing but happiness.
I love spending time with her. I don't ever want to be with anyone else. I love her. When my father wants me to marry I know I'll choose her. That's a while away though. So I won't mention it to her.
I looked around trying to find my bright blue haired angel. I heard a loud creaking. It was a light hanging from the ceiling. It's been broken for as long as I can remember.
"They need to fix that." I said to Kauru as we walked past it.
"Yeah. It's going to fall one day." Kauru said.
I walked down the hall and waited my the door of music room 3 for Kairi. I spotted her looking at some pictures on her phone.
The ground started to shake. Earthquake! I heard a loud noise. Like something cracking. I looked up and saw a giant crack in the ceiling. It got bigger and traveled to the broken light.
It's going to fall. I saw the chain holding it up start to break. I looked down and saw that Kairi was crouched on the ground. Right I under the light. I saw her trying to stand.
The chain snapped and the light came hurdling down. It hit Kairi and she dropped back. As she fell back she hit her head on the railing of the stairs.
I tried to run to her and the shaking stopped. Right before I got to her she tumbled down the stairs.
When she stopped I held her in my arms. There was a giant gash on the side of her head. She was still breathing. But barely.
I picked her up and yelled for help. Apparently the paramedics were here helping with something earlier and they came to me.
They took Kairi from me and ran her to an ambulance. They wouldn't let me ride with her so I darted to my limo.
"Follow that ambulance!" I screamed. And the driver took off.
I didn't even wait for the car to stop before I jumped out. I ran inside to the front desk. I told them who I was looking for.
"The doctors have already taken her into surgery sir. You are going to have to wait here." She said.
I looked down at my hands. They had blood on them. I ran into the restroom to clean them. I looked in the mirror. I was crying. I hadn't noticed.
I say in the waiting room and well.... Waited. 20 minutes went by. 35. One hour. Two hours.
Finally a doctor came up to me.
"Excuse me. Are you the only one here for Ms. Kairi Riku?" he asked.
"Yes." I said. "Is she okay?"
"Come with me." He said. I followed him to a room. He stopped on the outside.
"There was a lot of damage to her head. She must have hit it many times. She's awake but I don't know if she can register anything we're saying. She hast said anything yet." He said. I nodded.
"Just be careful." He said. "Don't talk too loudly. Or do anything that could possibly affect her injury."
He opened the door and I walked in. She was staring at her hands. There was a bandage wrapped around her head and one on her arm. When the door shut she looked up at me.
"Where am i?" she asked.
"The hospital." I said.
"What happened?" she asked.
"There was an earthquake. You hit your head pretty hard." I told her.
"That explains the massive headache." She said.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I don't know." She sad and looked down at her hands.
She sat silent for a while. She looked at my uniform. She stared at it for a while.
"Ouran." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"Ouran. I remember being at Ouran." she said. I came closer to the bedside.
"Yeah. You were at the school when the earthquake hit, Kairi." I said.
"Did you bring me here?" she asked. I nodded. "You're awfully nice."
I didn't say anything for a moment. I was about to speak when she said something else.
"Not many people would help a stranger like that." She said.
"W-what?" I asked. She looked up at me and smiled.
"I said. Not many people would help a stranger like that. You saw me hurt and brought me here. Even though you don't know me." She said. I stopped breathing.
"W-what's the l-last thing you r-remember Kairi?" I asked.
"My dad brought me to Ouran to sign me up to go there. I was wandering the halls...... Then I was here." She said.
"So.... You don't know me?" I asked.
"No." She said. "But thank you for saving me." She smiled. "Where are my parents."
I couldn't move. I couldn't do anything. I just sat there and stared at her.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Uh.... They're on their way." I said. I could see my vision getting blurt from the tears.
"Are you alright?" she asked.
"Fine." I said and wiped my tears away.
"Oh. Before I forget. What's your name?" she asked.
My heart broke. No. No. This can't be happening. I took a deep shaky breath.
"Hikaru." I said and closed my eyes for a moment.
"It's nice to meet you Hikaru." She smiled.
I died a little when she said that. I can't believe she doesn't remember me. I stared at her for a while. She was looking around.
"I-I am going to go." I said. "I'll be back in a few minutes."
"Okay. Goodbye Hikaru." She said. I walked out of the room.
"Goodbye my angel." I said and sat outside the room.
