Tay POV
The first show was a big success. As time progressed, nearly every show has been sold out. Jenna and I have gotten closer and I think I'm closer to getting it. It's been two weeks, the longest I've ever tried. Today we're in Dallas, Texas and it's a lot cooler than it has been before. We'll be here for a couple of days so we were like why not go to Six Flags? It's the first time the Tonight Alive crew would go, so I made sure to be a great tour guide. I love roller coasters and amusement parks.
I had a Glamour Kills t-shirt with my bomber jacket, some skinny jeans, black vans, and a red beanie. Everyone was excited to go, everyone but Jenna. I saw her waiting in the lobby wearing some jeans, a flannel, what I assumed was her new jacket, and a black beanie. Her blonde tips stuck out underneath the beanie and the black made her eyes pop.
"Why the long face?" I asked as I came up behind her. She turned and smiled at me.
"I'm not the best at amusement parks," she said a bit uneasy.
"Well, I am and I'll make sure you have a great time, I promise," I said as I put my arm around her waist.
She seemed comforted and put her arm on my shoulders.
"Promise that if I get scared you won't let go," she said. Yes, she's lowering her guard.
"I promise," I smiled.
She got onto our bus and we started to head out to a day full of rides, food, and adrenaline.
It's been a while since I've been to this Six Flags, but I do remember a lot of it. The Texas Giant and the Titan are necessary, and the Superman maybe. I saw Jenna next to Mr with her hands in her pockets.
"So let's separate and we'll meet here at 5. Have fun," Jordan winked and walked off with Rob, Cameron and Jairus.
Jen looked around and I grabbed her hand.
"Stick with me gorgeous," I said.
"Okay, Taylor," she laughed. There was something about the way she said my whole name that made my heart go fast and slow at the same time.
As we walked, her hand was still in mine and she intertwined our fingers. It felt amazing, like it belonged.
"We'll start off with something small," I said as we walked towards the Batman. It wasn't too big, but it was pretty fast.
"Are you serious?" Jenna said when we made it to the front.
"Yes, it's fun I promise," I said as I gave her hand a squeeze.
She hesitated but she got on. She looked nervous, very nervous. I grabbed her hand again and looked into her beautiful eyes.
"I won't let go," I said. She smiled slightly and we were off.
I was laughing and Jenna was screaming, but I never let go of her hand. Towards the end she was actually laughing and enjoying herself.
"That was so fun!" she jumped.
"I'm glad you thought so," I smiled.
We passed by the creeps by the exit and found a picture of our row on the screen.
"You really didn't let go," Jenna said as she looked at the screen.
"I promised I wouldn't," I smiled.
I told the girl at the counter I wanted the picture and gave it to Jenna. She smiled down at it.
My favorite rife here is the water ride, but it's too cold to go on it so we went on the Wile E. Coyote rocket ride. It's like the boats that sway back and forth, but this one goes all the way around. Jen actually looked excited for this. She looks like a little kid at their first fair and I laughed. The ride came on and that familiar feeling in my stomach came in. I was giggling uncontrollably. I love going upside down and by the sound of her laughs, Jenna loves it too.
We got off and went over to the superman. It's a giant tower that drops down 3 times. I hadn't been on this one because it terrified me but Jenna looks excited.
"Oh my god you guys are Tay Jardine and Jenna McDougall," a voice behind us said.
I turned to find a group of cute teen girls.
"We are. Pleasure to meet you guys," I smiled widely.
"Can we take some pictures?" a short one with dark hair asked.
"Of course," I said. We posed and took some good ones.
"You guys coming to the show tomorrow?" Jenna asked.
"Definitely, " they said.
"Come by the merch table and show him the pictures and you'll get a piece of merch of your choice on me," I smiled.
"Us too," Jenna joined in.
There was a mix of oh my god's coming from them. I laughed and turned back to the line.
"That was cute," Jenna laughed.
"What?"
"it's cute how much you love fans. It's something I like about you,"
"Well without them I wouldn't be doing what I love. I owe them," I said.
Jenna smiled and it was our turn to get on. I started to wiggle in my seat.
"You okay?" she asked.
"I never really went on this before because It freaks me out," I said. Jenna smiled softly.
"It's okay," she said as we started to go up. She gripped my hand and boom, down we went.
I was screaming my head off but I got an amazing adrenaline rush. My heart was racing and I caught myself incredibly.
"Well, someone had fun facing her fear," Jenna teased.
"Only because someone relaxed me," I said as I bumped her with my hip.
Jenna giggled. I looked over at her and I felt my heart go faster. The chill gave her cheeks a rosy hue and her lips were pursed in a smile. How I wish I could feel them. Jenna, seriously, what are you doing to me?
