Shut Up and Kiss Me

Jenna POV

We had been here for a few hours and I was starving. "I don't assume there's a vegetarian grill here is there," I said to Tay.

"Nope, but there is one thing that I always need to get when I come here. It might be veggie enough, but it's not the healthiest," she said.

My stomach rumbled. "With this hunger, it's okay if it's full of sugar," I said.

"Okay then. Turn right here," she said as she grabbed my hand and led me to a line.

"Cookies and cream funnel cake please," she said to the girl working the counter. What the hell is a funnel cake?

We sat at a table with an oddly shaped object covered in whipped cream and cookie bits.

"What-"

"Up up up, no talking until you try it," Tay lifted her finger to my lips.

I opened my mouth and she fed me. It was crunchy and soft, very sweet but not overbearing. It's good, very good, so good I'm fine with the fact that it's not healthy at all.

"Like it?" Tay smiled as she took a bite herself.

"It's amazing," I said.

Tay smiled and I noticed the cream on her lip. I rubbed it off and lucked it off my finger. Tay smiled, smirked, and rubbed cream on my nose.

We ate the rest and started to look at the booths. There were tons of cute little games. We went for a game where you shoot a target with a water gun. I may be a bit shaky, but I have good aim. Once the stream came on, my meter shot up and I won. I got a cute bugs bunny plush.

"Damn, that's some good aim you have there," Tay laughed.

I smiled and handed her the plush. "Keep it," I said.

Tay looked at me and held the plush close to her. The sun was setting and the lights got brighter. The day was ending and I was bummed because it was a great day.

"Tradition is that the last ride of the night goes to the ferris wheel, so will you join me?" Tay said while she extended her hand towards me.

I gladly took her hand and naturally our fingers intertwined. I have to be honest, it felt great. We got to the ride and climbed in. Tay was talking, but the scenery got most of my attention. The lights made everything look amazing.

"And this is why I always make this the last ride," Tay smiled as we neared the top.

I looked up at her and my god was I drawn in. She had that smile again, that smile that made me get closer in the first place.

"The lights are amazing,' she said as we stopped at the top. I saw the motion of her lips as she talked and all I could think was fuck it. I brought her close and kissed her softly. Our lips were barely touching but the butterflies in me fluttered through my veins. Almost immediately her hand went up to my cheek and our kiss got deeper. I needed this. It was about time I felt the spark I hoped and longed for. In this moment, I knew I was wrong about Tay. I mean, this electricity I'm feeling can't be faked. We pulled away and touched our foreheads with each others. Tay was smiling and so was I.

"Can we do that again?" Tay smiled. I laughed a bit and kissed her again.

When we pulled away Tay leaned her head on my shoulder and our hands came together. I couldn't help but smile at this girl next to me. We walked hand in hand to the entrance where we were to meet the rest of the guys. Dakotah turned around and I saw the surprise in his eyes.

"Aye," he yelled.

Everyone looked over and clapped, everyone except Jordan. He just stood there with a shocked looked on his face.

"Relax," Tay told the guys.

"No questions yet," I said as I wrapped an arm around Tay.

The guys gave us a doubtful look but eventually gave in and we walked to the buses.

Tay and I got into our own separate buses and I was left with the tingle of her lips on mine. I laid in my bunk and thought to myself. Does this mean we're together? I should ask her out, maybe. I really want another kiss, bad. Why are you so special Miss Taylor Jardine?
