Chapter 2

*Hanna's P.O.V.*

Nash put a piece of hair behind my ear "Your nose is definitely broken"

"I know." I looked down.

My dad then was put into the back of a cop car.

My mom was on her way home, Nash texted her off his phone, i couldn't tell her myself...

"Are you okay?" Nash asked. I shook my head as tears started flowing out of my eyes.

Nash put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his chest.

"You are safe." he whispered in my ear.

He saved me.

"You saved me" i whispered

"I love you so much" Nash whispered

"I just got done talking to the police." Elizabeth came back to us and said

"What did they say?" I quietly asked

"I don't know if you knew this, but your father-" i cut her off

"Sorry to interupt you, but please. Don't call him my father." I cringed at the sound of it

"Its okay sweetie." She said down next to me and and held my hand.

"He escaped jail last night, Hanna. He killed a cop while he was escaping. He was charged with murder, a jail brake, and probably more, he is going to be put away for a long long time." Elizabeth said

"Why was he charged with an armed weapon?" Nash paused "did he... Have a gun?" He lightly said

Elizabeth nodded

"It was fully loaded, Nash. If you didn't get there when you did.." she took a deep  breathe "I'm scared to think what would've happened"

She was indicating to me. I would've been murdered by my fucking birth parent.

"Oh my gosh" i looked down.

"You're okay now" Nash rubbed my back

"No, not that" i paused "the flashbacks Nash. Of my dad. They came true.."

I couldn't believe this.

Nash looked at me with wide eyes just as my mom pulled into my driveway. She quickly opened up her car door and ran to me.

"Hanna" she was in tears as she hugged me. "Wha-what happened? Where is he?" My mom said panicky

"Can i talk to you about it?" Elizabeth asked

"Y-yes" my mom was shakey. I don't blame her.

"Nash. Take Hanna to the ER and please bring Hayes. I need to talk to Amy about this" Elizabeth said

"Be safe please." My mom cried and i hugged her. I never wanted to let go. My mom is the best.

Nash held my left hand while he was driving.

"Hanna?" Hayes said quietly

"Yes?" I asked nervously

"I know what happened. Are you... Okay?" I could tell he was about to cry

"I'm okay Hayes. Please don't cry." I smiled at him and i got a tear in my eye. And he nodded and tried not to cry.

The rest of the ride was silent.

We were in the room.

"So, how did this happen?" The doctor asked feeling around my nose.

God damn, it hurt so bad.

"My...um....dad..." I again, cringed at that awful word.

"Punched me..." I quietly said

"Has he punched you before?" The doctor asked and got some gauze tap.

"Y-Yes. When i was little.. He was in jail and got out. He came back today and.. You can guess the rest. He is being brought to a prison." A tear fell out of my eye. I know i wasn't telling the whole story. But, thats more information that she needed to know.

"I will be praying for you" she gave me a warm smile.

"Thank you" i smiled back and whiped off my tears.

"No problem" she paused "and your nose is broken for sure. Just change, your gauze and take the medication we are prescribing to you and it should heal. Also, no sport activity" she said and i nodded

"You look beautiful with that gauze tape on" Nash smiled at me and i couldn't help but blush.

"Awe. How long have you guys been dating? 2 years?" She said

"No" Nash chuckled "more like two months. But, we have known eachother since we were 8." He smiled

"Thats so cute." She smiled "i can tell you are very good to her"

"He is amazing." I smiled and he smiled back

She shook mine, Nash's, and Hayes' hand as we left.

Me and Nash were laying in his bed

"I can't believe that all just happened" i quietly said

"I know. You are safe with me." He kissed my cheek

"You saved my life. How can i ever repay you?" I asked

"By being with me forever." He interlocked our fingers.

He slowly kissed my lips and we pulled apart.

"My mom is probably a wreck downstairs." I sighed

"Yeah, i know. I feel the pain for her and you" he hugged me.

"I love you." I said

"I love you, too." He said

We layed there in comfortable silence for a moment.

"Your flashbacks." Nash said

"Oh, Thats right" i sighed "i guess we didn't talk about that earlier" i said

"Yeah. Thats crazy how it happened. I'm just so happy its over and you are here safely in my arms." Nash said and i kissed Nash's cheek.

"I never want to leave you" i said

"Then don't" he giggled and so did i.

We layed down for a little while until i realized none of the guys know what just happened. Not even Cam or Laura.

"The guys" i said "Laura, Zoe and mary too. They don't know!" I said

"I will tell them." Nash pulled out his phone and added everyone in the group chat.

"Please don't leave anything out." I said

"They need to know everything"

Everything.

Okay, i hope you enjoyed it and Im going to sleep now bc its 11:00 and i have school and Im really sick:( i dont want to go to school tomorrow and my mom said i didnt have to but i dont feel like making yo the work and i have a test tomorrow ughhh.
