Thirty Two

They were walking hand in hand in the park admiring the green landscape whole heartedly. His thumb drew little circles on the back of her hand which made them both smile.

They approached their favourite bench in the whole park, the one which offered a full view of the small lake around that area.

"I think it's time we tell them. I don't want to keep the kids in the dark any longer." She sighed as she slowly nodded her head.

"I think that's the best solution. I really want all this lying to stop before it gets out of hand and they lose their trust in us." She was scared, scared of causing conflict and definitely scared of hurting your feelings.

He turned to face her never letting her hand go. He gently squeezed her hand for reassurance, signalling that everything was going to be okay.

She smiled through it all before laying her head on his shoulder. "So when should we break the news to them?"

He hummed softly as he thought of a suitable time. "How about this weekend?"

She gently shook her head at his response. "They're going for their regional tournament at the Seoul basketball centre on Saturday. How about after that?"

He hummed in agreement. She was being awfully silent at this moment and he knew that she was nervous.

"Everything's going to go great. Trust me." He gave her reassurance of that over and over again which he wouldn't stop doing until she was at a peaceful state of mind.

You and Jungkook walked home from the school hand in hand. You couldn't bring yourself to look at him because of your shyness, but you were finally his girlfriend.

That thought made you smile nonetheless. Who knew that he could bring you this much happiness.

Jungkook on the other hand did not stop looking in your direction with the same huge plastered across his face. He managed to catch a few glimpses of your occasional smiles and that made him light up.

He began to swing your interlocked hands gently as you both finally made it to the front of your house.

Still lost in your thoughts, you proceeded to walk past your house but immediately broke out of your trance as Jungkook pulled you back. He simply took hold of your other hand interlocking it with his other hand.

Your head was tilted downwards looking at both your hands, and that made you smile even more. So you decided to look up into the eyes of the one you love.

"This is where I leave you, I guess..." Jungkook said that with a bit of sadness in his voice.

"I love you." You said confidently as your eyes remained fixated onto his. He smiled before leaning down and giving you a gentle kiss on your forehead.

"I love you too.." He mumbled as his lips still made contact with your skin. "And don't even think of running away from me because...I'll always find a way to catch you."

You buried your face in his chest as you wrapped your arms around his waist.

"I don't see how I would run away because I'm tied to you..." He immediately wrapped his arms around you as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.

You both hesitantly pulled away as it was time for you to go back into the house. Making your way to the door, you turned back to give Jungkook a small wave which he returned with a smile.

He then placed his hands into the pockets of his jeans before turning back, making his way home. The front door stood in front of you but you were hesitant to put the key into the lock.

You turned back around and saw that Jungkook had already begun walking back to his home. Taking a deep breath, you immediately ran towards him while calling out his name.

He hummed in confusion as he turned around wondering why you were calling. As soon as you reached him, you softly got on your tipey toes ready to plant your lips on his.

He chuckled at your failed attempt  simply because he was too tall. You buried your face in his chest out of embarrassment.

Jungkook gently pushed you from his chest, brought up both his hands to cup your face. Your eyes widened as you saw his eyes close as he leaned down closer and closer until his soft lips connected with yours.

You felt nothing but pure bliss as both of your lips moved slowly together in sync. It was amazing, all his kisses were. From that kiss at the spa to the kiss at the basketball court, they drove you mad.

Jungkook didn't want to pull back at all. He wanted to savour this very moment because deep down he knew that something big was going to happen. And wasn't sure where that would leave the both of you.

He finally pulled back before giving your lips a final peck. Your face was heating up and your heart beat was accelerating more than usual.

So you took this opportunity to...

run home so he wouldn't see what he had done to you, how red your face had become. He chuckled as your small figure ran away from his and into the house fast paced.

He gently placed his fingers on his lips, the sensation still lingering.

"What have you done to me, Y/N?" He whispered to himself as he finally made his way back home, heart practically leaping out of his chest.

Lisa hid behind the trash cans watching what had just happened between you and Jungkook unfold. She watched as Jungkook softly gave you a kiss, the second one that day.

She had no choice but to just break down right there. Her heart was aching so much that she wanted to just get rid of it. She hugged her knees while rocking back and forth.

"What did I do to deserve this?" She shakily said as she placed a piece of her own hair behind her ear. A scoff made her stop crying, making her turn her head upwards.

"Are you seriously crying right now?! After everything you've done until this point, you want to cry now?!" Eunha shouted as she watched Lisa wipe her wet cheeks with the back of her hand.

"Why are you still wasting your time with me? I know that I lost..." She sniffled as she stood up. "Are you happy now?"

Eunha grabbed her wrist as she was about to storm off.

"What I don't get is why you have to cry about it? You don't deserve to cry..especially after all the despicable things you've done." Lisa turned to face her former best friend, sadness replaced with anger.

"Well i don't expect you have some kind of sympathy towards me! I mean you haven't had your heart break." Eunha scoffed as she looked to the side for a few seconds before turning to the girl in front of her.

"Are you really that self centred?! Oh, my bad what do i expect from the girl that kissed the boy i liked in front of me, the girl that abandoned me when she found someone better along the way." She turned around ready to walk away. "Your life is just one big joke."

The next words that came out from Eunha's mouth made Lisa stop cold. 

"If you don't confess, i'll tell them myself. I told you you were going to lose everything and i meant it. Two weeks...that's all i'm giving you." She said finally as she walked away. Lisa wasn't supposed to care what would happen if Jungkook or Y/N found out....but why did she?
