Now that they were away from the network station, and Gerald and Jessie's distressing presence, she had recovered her mood of the night before.
It was difficult to think of anything disagreeable like the reporter's ultimatum when Matteo was treating her with so much care.
Determined to enjoy herself, she pushed the impending threat to the back of her mind.
There will be no scandal, according to Ma'am Chai. She would just be another blind item of old news.
"Sarah, your condominium or mine?" he said with an intimate smile.
His tender eyes and fingers, caressing the inside of her wrist, sent shiver jolting through her.
Was it foolish to allow him to kiss her again?

She reached the bedroom and began peeling each item from her body. She activated the shower dial, then lathered every inch of skin, rinsed, and repeated the process twice.
Satisfied, she turned the dial to cold and let the needle spray revive and revitalize her before she reached for a towel.
