"Kumusta Matteo, si Sarah ito. Pwede ka bang makausap ng personal?" she asked.
"Yes, bibisitahin kita sa place mo mamaya."
"Gabi na ako makakauwi mamaya. Kailangan kong matapos itong commercial shoot na ginagawa ko."
"So when do you want to talk?"
"How about lunch?" she suggested.
It was safer than dinner, she thought.
"Lunch?"
"Oo. Kung okay lang sa iyo?"
"I can do lunch," he agreed.
"Tomorrow, I'm free."
"Why not? I know a place in Makati. It's safe and it's pretty. It's close to where I work."
"Okay."
"There's a place called Carpaccio Ristorante, alam mo ito?" he asked.

She shook her head. "No, but I can find it."
"Okay. I'll see you in there at one. Call me if you get held up."
"I'll see you at one, bye." she agreed and turned the call button off.

It felt like the first date she had been out on.
On Wednesday night Sarah had slept badly and woke as soon as it was light.
She was terrified of going back to sleep and not leaving herself enough time. She overcompensated and arrived in Makati with an hour to spare.
