"Who is Gerald to you, Sarah?" Matteo questioned lightly.
"Gerald?" she said dully.
Gerald Anderson. Matteo's mouth flattened into an expression of distaste.
He removed his arm from her shoulder. Sarah wondered why she suddenly felt cold.
She looked him straight in the eyes. We were not meant for each other. He is currently in a romantic relationship with another actress." she added.

"I see," he sighed after a few seconds of silence.
Is Gerald still in love with Sarah?
No.
He can't be jealous. He's never been jealous.
He smiled to dismiss the unpleasant feeling.
"You have a lovely place." said Matteo, in an attempt to change the topic.
"Salamat." She experienced a degree of pride at the décor. "I did the interior design myself just for fun sa tulong ng isang kaibigan. Ganitong ayos ang gusto ko. Isang buwan palang akong nakatira dito."
"Ang dami mong paintings?"
"I know," Sarah said laughing.
"Which of the painting is your personal favorite?" Matteo queried as they moved from one canvas to another.
"The little girl standing on a sand hill looking out over the ocean."
"Why that particular painting?"
Her voice softened. "She's trying not to be afraid, but she is. You can see it in the faint thrust of her lower lip, ang pagbaba ng kayang baba." She raised her hand, and then let it fall again to her side.
