Y/N's POV

At home it's rough for me. My family struggles financially and I work 3 jobs, 20 shifts a week, to help pay the bills and put food on the table for my 4 younger siblings. Almost everyone knows at my school about my situation but they rarely try to help, and when they do I don't accept it.

I walked into my math class and took my seat in the front. I got out my notebook and wrote down a few things as I waited for the teacher to come in.

When the whole class, including the teacher, was in the classroom, my boyfriend Zach walked up to me with a box wrapped in purple wrapping paper.

"What's this?" I asked. The whole class was silent and they were all watching.

"A present, open it," he answered with a smile. I hesitantly opened it and saw a large brown box under the wrapping paper.

I slowly opened the box and I saw so much in the box. One by one I took each object out.

First I found baby toys, for my baby sister, Jace. I covered my mouth and my eyes watered as I looked at it, I knew she would love it. I kept looking through it and taking out the objects, I found hair accessories for me and my 2 sisters, and I found deflated soccer balls and footballs for my 2 brothers.

I also found cute dresses that we couldn't afford.

By this point I was crying as I looked at everything.

"Everybody in this class has been chipping in for the past 3 months," Zach explained as he knelt down beside me. I looked at him and he smiled at me.

"Thank you guys," I said through my tears. I put everything back in the box and wiped my tears.

"There's one more thing," Zach said then left.

He came back with a gift bag with tissue paper in it. "Since most of that was for your siblings, this is for you."

I took the bag and opened it. First I found a brand new pair of black Nike shoes. I started crying again as I put the shoes on the ground. I looked inside of the bag again and saw a Pandora bracelet that I've wanted since forever. And there was one last thing on the bottom, I pulled it out and looked at it. A $1,000 check.

I looked at it in disbelief as more tears fell.

"I can't accept this," I said as I handed it to Zach.

"Yes you can, you can go buy a nice meal for your family or get your siblings toys, whatever you want," Zach explained as he pushed away my hand. I hugged Zach and I heard the class 'awe'.

I stood up while in the hug so Zach wouldn't be in an awkward position. I cried into his shoulder as he rubbed my back. "I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I replied. He gently kissed my cheek and I smiled.

When I calmed down I pulled away and smiled.

"Thank you guys," I said as I looked around the classroom. All of my classmates stood up and I hugged all of them, they all said a sweet message.

"Thank you again," I said to everyone as I stood at the front of the class. They all nodded then I gathered everything and continued to listen to the teacher.
