Noura's POV
Gabbie knocked on the door of her boyfriend, Jack, and his band's house.
The door opened and a boy with curly hair opened it. He smiled and hugged her then kissed her cheek.
"Hey love," he welcomed with a smile.
"Hey," Gabbie replied. He gently pecked her lips and smiled.
"Who's this?" the boy asked.
"Jack, this is my best friend and roommate, Noura, and Noura this is my boyfriend Jack," Gabbie said.
I shook his hand and smiled.
"Nice to meet you Noura," Jack said.
"You too," I replied with a smile.
Jack brought Gabbie and I inside where four other boys came over.
"Guys, this is my best friend and roommate Noura, and Noura these are Jack's band members, Zach, Jonah, Corbyn, and Daniel," Gabbie said, pointing to each boy as she said their name.
"Hey, I'm Noura," I said with a wave. Daniel waved back with a smile and I blushed slightly. I won't lie, he's cute.
"Let me show you around," Daniel said with a smile. I nodded then followed him.
*20 minutes later*
"And this is the backyard, we spend a lot of time back here," he said as we walked outside. I nodded and smiled.
"It's beautiful," I said as I looked around.
"I know right, I love to come here and clear my mind," he said with a smile. I nodded then we sat down on a large rock. "Tell me a little bit about yourself."
"Well I'm 19 turning 20 this year, I love skateboarding, I love singing and dancing, basically anything to do with music. I love to express myself through creativity," I answered. Daniel smiled and nodded. "What about you?"
"Well I also love singing and skateboarding, and I have an odd obsession with apple juice and watermelon," he said. I laughed and his smile grew.
We kept talking until it was time for Gabbie and I to go.
"It was great talking with you," I said to Daniel.
"You too," he replied with a smile. I hugged him goodbye then left with Gabbie.
"So, you and Daniel?" Gabbie asked in the car with a smirk.
"Nothing happened, we just got talking," I replied.
"Do you like him?" She asked. I stayed quiet. "You do so! Oh my god I'm so excited!"
"We just met Gabbie, he probably doesn't even like me back. It's not a big deal," I said with my head down.
"Ok, whatever you think hun."
*a few weeks later*
Over the past few weeks Gabbie and I have been visiting the Why Don't We house almost daily. Daniel and I have become closer and we hang out a lot.
I walked into the house behind Gabbie and Daniel hugged me to say hello.
"Hey Noura," he said quietly.
"Hey Dani," I replied. We pulled away from the hug then I hugged the other boys.
We all sat on the couch and put in a movie to watch. Gabbie cuddled up with Jack and I smiled at their cuteness. I was on the end of the couch beside Daniel.
I put a blanket over Daniel and I.
I slowly yawned from being tired from the late night, so I slowly closed my eyes and rested my head against Daniel's shoulder. I slowly fell asleep.
*a few hours later*
I woke up but kept my eyes shut, I noticed that Daniel's arms were wrapped around me and he gently caressed my hair.
"Do you like her?" I heard Jonah ask quietly.
"Yeah, I do," Daniel answered. "I don't know how to tell her."
"I'll let you in on a secret, she likes you too," I heard Gabbie say.
Bitch.
I felt Daniel gently kiss my forehead and he smiled against my skin.
"I'll tell her when she wakes up," Daniel explained.
"Ok, we'll go to give you guys privacy," Jack said. I heard shifting then I heard the back door open then close again.
I slowly shuffled around and opened my eyes. I smiled as I saw Daniel smiling at me.
"How did you sleep?" he asked gently.
"Great," I answered. He smiled and nodded. I sat up then stretched my body, then I faced Daniel again.
"I actually need to tell you something," he said awkwardly. I smiled and nodded.
"What's up?"
"I really like you, as in I have a crush on you. I know we just met a few weeks ago but I've just felt a connection between us and I-," he rambled.
"Daniel, I like you too," I cut him off. He looked up at me and smiled.
"Then will you be my girlfriend?" he asked politely.
"Of course," I answered. I hugged him tightly and placed my head on his shoulder while he rubbed my back.
This is what I wanted.
*8 years later*
I looked over at my now husband, Daniel, and smiled.
