Olivia's POV

"I think we should break up."

I completely froze. My boyfriend, Zach, and I have been together for 1 and a half years, and now he wants to break up.

"W-Why?" I asked shakily, trying to keep my tears from falling.

"I just don't think that it's working out," he replied. A few tears fell down my cheeks as I nodded and left his bedroom.

I ran downstairs crying and quickly got my shoes and jacket on.

"Hey, Liv, you ok?" Jonah asked as he came up beside me. All I could do is shake my head. "Let me drive you home, it's too dangerous in this state."

I nodded and handed him my car keys.

We got into my car and he started driving to my apartment, only a few blocks away.

When we got to my apartment we went inside and he brought me to my bed, I was still shaking and a few tears were falling.

We sat down on my bed and he hugged me tightly. "What's wrong?" he asked gently.

"Z-Zach broke up with me," I cried.

"Oh Olivia, I'm so sorry," he said quietly then held me tighter. "It will be ok."

"H-He's gone now," I sobbed into him.

"I know, I know," he replied. "You're exhausting yourself from crying, let's lay down."

I slowly laid down in my bed and Jonah covered me with the blankets. He smiled at me slightly and I tried to smile back. "I'm going to make some lunch, I'll get you when it's ready," he said then left the room. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

*a few weeks later*

Jonah and I have been staying in touch, becoming best friends, nothing more. He's always there when I have emotional breakdowns or just when I need someone to talk to.

But over the past week or so I've noticed that I always feel sick in the mornings, and that I'm always hungry, I was never like that before. I decided to talk to Jonah about it.

"Hey Jo?" I asked. He looked at me from he other side of the couch and smiled.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"Can I talk to you about something?"

"Of course," he replied. He paused the tv then we faced each other, he gave me a comforting smile and rubbed my shoulder gently. "What's up?"

"Well for the past few weeks, I've noticed that I'm only sick in the mornings, and I'm usually hungrier than normal. I don't know what's going on," I explained. His face looked shocked for a second and I looked at him concerned. "What?" I asked.
