Well, there's broken silence
By thunder crashing in the dark
And these broken records
Spin endless circles in the bar
This world can hurt you
It cuts you deep and leaves a scar
Things fall apart, but nothing breaks like a heart;
~Nothing breaks like a heart..

As the sharp rays of the rising sun that was glowering after the gloomy rains that poured over London the previous day, managed to peep through the heavy mahogany-beige curtains, directly fell on Nandini's face, her slumber got disrupted as she blinked them a few times awake, only to find herself caged in her husband's arms entirely, with his arms around her waist and his face hidden in her dark tresses, protected from every evil eye out there in the world.

She smiled at her man child and tried to get out of the bed stealthily but all of a sudden she observed his grip around her waist had tightened almost painfully so she looked up only to encounter his darker than the darkest brown orbs, which made her gasp.

Advik: Where are you running away from me early in the morning Mrs AK?

Oh boy! Would she ever be able to get habitual to the morning husk in her husband's voice? Like ever?

Nandini: Uh, washroom, I suppose. Where else would I go?

She retorted in pure sarcasm expecting one back at herself but was taken aback when he smiled at her.

Nandini: What?

He bit those luscious lips of his that she could swear taste sweeter than strawberries, before pulling her closer to himself.

Advik: Ab toh tujhe lifetime apne paas aise he rakhunga. Samjhi?

Nandini smiled and caressed his cheek lightly.

Nandini: Aur agar mai bhaag gayi toh?

She tried to pull his strings but in response he yanked her waist towards himself.

Advik: Toh tujhe kheench kar wapas le aaunga. So don't even try to run.

Nandini rubbed her nose against his whilst wrapping her hand around his neck and whispered in his ears.

Nandini: Wouldn't even dare to.

She smiled when she felt his lips on her temple before both of them sat upright.

Nandini: At what time did you reach home?

She asked him while tying her hair in a bun after rubbing the corners of her eyes while he kept staring at her morning glory in awe. So pure. So fresh. So gorgeous. She turned towards him when he did not reply, only to find him gawking at her with nothing but love in his eyes, which warmed up both her cheeks and chest. She abruptly turned her gaze from him which seemed to bring back his mind on the right track.

Advik: Uh, I think about two.

Nandini nodded but her body went stiff as she remembered what happened at that time in Manik's room, but Advik was oblivious to her stiffness. Nandini took a deep breath before turning to face him. She was going to tell him everything for she couldn't take this feeling of guilt anymore, though she had done nothing wrong but still, she wanted to see what Advik has to say about this.

Nandini: I wanted to tell you something.

Advik ran a hand over his hair and looked at her. How mouthwatering...shit! Was she distracted already?

Advik: Bolo naa.

And suddenly she grew nervous. She cleared her throat and chewed her bottom lip when she felt his fingers tugging it free from her teeth.
