Katherine couldn't believe she'd been roped into being Five's chauffeur for the night.

This meant that all night she'd been waltzing around in her thirty year old body. This also meant that all night Five had been 'putting the moves' on her, so to speak.

They were in Katherine's Navigator listening to an old Biggie Smalls album Five had found when he shamelessly went through Katherine's room. They sat in awkward silence listening to the music.

Five cleared his throat and shifted around in his seat. "You know, I could've driven myself."

Katherine scoffed and flicked her dark hair over her shoulder, "Yeah, right. And who would bail you out when you got busted for driving without a license?" Five sunk down in his seat at her tone.

She felt bad after the words left her mouth, but was too stubborn to apologize so she just turned up the music. "Remind me why I have to drive your ass around?"

Five looked over to Katherine, "Cause no one else wanted to. Plus, I haven't spent much time with you since I got back." He got quieter as he said the last few words, scared she might yell at him or start crying.

Katherine pulled into the empty – well, except for one truck – parking lot of Griddy's Doughnuts. Five eagerly hopped out of the SUV and slammed the door, grimacing as he looked at Katherine's pissed off expression.

"Don't slam my fucking door."

He smoothed out his overcoat and looked up at her, "Sorry, Kat."

She pushed the door open and sat down beside a trucker. The guy looked over at her, shifting in his seat uncomfortably as she stared him down.

A waitress came from the back in an ugly pink uniform and pulled out a pen and pad. "What can I get for you?" She asked the man.

Katherine looked at down at her dark nails waiting for her order to be taken. "And you miss?"

Katherine smiled a wide, fake, smile that made the waitress nervous. "Just a latte." The waitress scribbled down her order on the pad, "Can I get your kid a cup of milk or something?"

Katherine was about to speak up when Five interrupted, "The kid'll have coffee. Black."

The lady laughed awkwardly, "Cute kid you got there."

Katherine decided to just go along with it and said: "Thanks."

Five nudged Katherine, signaling her to switch seats with him so he could speak the the other man. She rolled her eyes but complied, moving to Five's previous seat. She put her head down on her arms, in her head she was counting the seconds till they could leave.

I could be at home watching tv. She thought angrily, completely tuning out the conversation going on beside her. Her thoughts were interrupted by the waitress placing a cup in front of her. Katherine lifted her head to smile at the lady, and saw the unknown man paying for their drinks.

"You don't have to-" she started saying but the man held up his hand.

"I insist. Have a nice night you two." Katherine thanked him and watched him leave. Five and Katherine were silently drinking their coffee when they heard the door open.

The girls eyes widened when she saw men dressed in all black with large guns in their hands. Five seemed unbothered. She whipped back around and looked at the waitress.

Katherine leaned over the counter (which Five very much enjoyed) and looked her straight in the eye. "Don't scream, you're gonna go into the back and you're not gonna come out until it gets quiet. Then call the cops and forget we were here." The lady gulped and scurried into the back.

In the bell reflection Five saw the men creeping up on them. "Hm. That was fast," he spoke turning to Katherine. "Thought I'd have more time before they found me."

One of the men came behind the boy, his gun pointing at him. "Okay, so let's all be professional about this, yeah? On your feet and come with us. They want to talk." Five exhaled loudly.

"I've got nothing to say." Katherine dropped her head into her hands and rubbed her temples. She really wasn't all for what Five was gonna have her do.

"It doesn't have to go like this. You think I wanna shoot a kid? Or a beautiful lady like this one? Go home with that on my conscious?" Five's jaw clenched as he looked at Katherine out of the corner of his eye.

"Well you won't have to worry about that." With a flick of her wrist the men were all flung backwards with great force. Five flashed behind them quickly, taking them out like it was nothing.

And he was doing pretty well until Katherine watched a bullet fly towards him in seemingly slow motion. In a second she was up and held out her hand; watching as the bullet came to a stop by flying into an invisible wall and flattened itself out.

Five breathed heavily, "Thanks babe." He winked at her before appearing behind the man and stabbing him with a fork.

Katherine ran a hand through her hair., pulled out her keys, and looked down at Five.

  "Don't call me babe."
