"Who the hell is Harold Jenkins?"

Katherine asked as her and her siblings looked at the name on the paper Five had given them. Five downed the rest of his coffee like a shot and tossed it behind him carelessly making Katherine sigh. She held her hand out as the empty cup flew through the air and landed in the trash can.

She gave him a harsh look, "Don't litter." Five couldn't be bothered to respond, simply shrugging her off with a look of deep thought on his face.

"I don't know, yet. But I do know that he's responsible for the apocalypse. So we have to find him, and we have to do it now." Katherine scoffed.

"Okay, Einstein, if you know his name how come you don't know how he's connected?" Five tried to glare at Katherine, but his eyes softened and he ran a hand through his hair.

"Yet. I said I don't know yet. Keep up Kat." Diego suddenly pushed his way forward and gave Five a look of confusion.

"Wait do you only know his name?"

Five began to get defensive at this. "It's enough!" Allison rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath that made Katherine snicker which gained Five's attention.

He gave her a questioning look to which she shook her head at. "There's probably dozens of Harold Jenkins' in the city."

Five had had enough of the bickering with Diego and snarking replied, "Well we just better start looking then."

It was quiet for a few moments as everyone gathered their thoughts before Allison broke the silence. "I'm sorry, am I the only one that's skeptical here?"

"Nope, I have my doubts as well." Katherine chimed in, shrugging when Five gave her a really? look. "I mean how exactly do you know all of this about what's his name?"

"Yeah Five, what's your deal? I know you think you know everything but why should we believe you?" Katherine chimed in again as she gave him a suspicious glance. Five looked uncomfortable and antsy as his eyes darted around to everything but Katherine's gaze.

"Harold Jenkins. You know the guys in masks who attacked the house." Katherine snorted. "Yeah I think I'd remember that." Diego nodded his head at her answer.

"Yeah the ones that attacked us and shot Katherine while you were getting drunk." Katherine could feel the tension in the room rise a little at the mention of her being shot. It wasn't a very sensitive topic for her anymore as she tried her best to bury it along with the other traumas she couldn't be bothered to see a shrink about.

Five finally looked up at Katherine. "Yeah, them. They were sent by the Temps Commission to stop me from coming back and preventing the end of life on Earth."

Katherine felt herself zoning out as she stared at Five's face. Should she really believe the things he was saying? His information didn't seem very reliable, he knew everything about this man but not the part he played in ending the world. A part of her wanted to believe him – she assumed this came from her heart– and a part of her was telling her to be smart, to carefully consider the information she was given – and this must have come from her head.

So she was left in her thoughts to think it over, her head or her heart?

"Kat." She was still zoned out on Five's face. "Kat!" He said a little louder, waving his hand in front of her face. The brunette came back to reality, embarrassment flashing across her tan cheeks as she realized she'd been caught staring at him.

A smirk crossed his face as she looked around to see her other siblings had left. "I know I'm hot babe, but c'mon now, you gotta focus." Katherine scoffed and shoved his shoulder as she walked past. She nearly knocked heads with him when he teleported himself directly in front of her.

Katherine opened her mouth to yell at him but found herself unable to as she looked into his eyes. "Lover," he said smirking. "You believe me, right? You'll help?"

He leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers. "I promise I know what I'm doing, I wouldn't have told you guys if I didn't." She rolled her eyes at him but nodded.

"Okay." She bit her lip and placed her hand on his face and shoving him back as hard as she could, smiling to herself as he stumbled backwards. He chuckled a little as he steadied himself, watching as she left their father's study.

"Don't ever put your damn face that close to mine again. And don't fucking call me lover."

Five shook his head at her before following after her. "You loved it... lover!" As soon as he said that Katherine spun around on her heels and held her hand up towards him, making the door slam shut in his face.

She walked away with a smile as she heard him complaining about his now injured nose.
