"hey, yeoreum!" miran waves at her friend, motioning yeoreum to the table.
"hey, mi," yeoreum sits down. "you got your schedule already?"
"yeah. perks of being in the student council, i guess," miran shrugs. "i looked at yours."
"really? do we have any classes together?"
"math foundations and english. but you know what really sucks? we've been in the same science class since freshman year, right? "
"oh no..." yeoreum shakes her head, knowing what miran was getting at.
"yeah! they put us in different chemistry classes this year and that's not the worst part. they really wanted to make us taste defeat because it's in the same period and the classrooms are right across from each other!"
"that's... wow, they really hate us, huh?" yeoreum sighs.
"i think they decided we shouldn't be in chemistry class together after that incident last year. we really outdid ourselves with that one," miran laughs.
"we nearly set the whole classroom on fire," yeoreum shrugs.
"holy hell, i got suspended from the student council for a week after that."
"did you order yet?" yeoreum asks and miran shakes her head no. "okay. the usual for you, right?"
"yep!"
miran watches her friend walk to the counter. she runs a hand through her hair, sighing. she doesn't know what to do. wow, i really am stupid, huh. she does have to put her feelings aside, she knows that much, but the rest isn't figured out yet. when she figures it out, she figures it'll fall into place and everything will end up in junkyu's favor.
just not in hers.
