she's so far away from him. his attention was always on someone else. she's going crazy, but why on earth can't she give up on him?

miran thanks yedam and his dad for giving her a ride home. she waits for them to drive away and enters her house. she's greeted by jihoon and yoonbin, who are sitting on the sofa, as she takes off her shoes.
"hey mi," yoonbin says.
"hi, ugly," jihoon grins.
"hi," she mumbles, ignoring jihoon.
"did you guys finish?"
"yedam did. not me," she sighs, sitting down beside jihoon. "i'll finish it before i sleep."
"give me your laptop," yoonbin points at her bag. "i'll do it."
miran tries to protest but she's too tired to argue. besides, when yoonbin stares at her like that, she knows not to fight him. she learned that.
she gives him her bag and yoonbin takes the laptop out. he gives it to miran to log in and takes it back once she does. (the twins don't hear another peep from yoonbin for a bit after that.)
"what should we watch?" jihoon asks miran.
"doesn't matter what i say. you're gonna put on a studio ghibli movie anyway."
"hm, i guess you're right. but not today," jihoon is browsing for something to watch. "maybe my hero academia? oh but you'll scream because of todoroki..."
miran hits his arm lightly, "i do not scream over him!"
jihoon shrugs, pulling out his phone. he looks for something and when he finds it, he practically shoves his phone to her face. -

- "this was you a few nights ago. acting like a thirteen year old," jihoon shakes his head as he turns off his phone.
"oh fuck off—" miran scoffs but she regrets those words the moment they rolled off her tongue. she winces as she hears her mom yell from the kitchen.
"park miran! language!"
"ooh, you're in deep shit now," jihoon snickers.
"you too jihoon!"
(yoonbin snickers too. they didn't hear though.)
miran hears her phone go off in her jacket pocket. she takes it out and looks at her screen. it's junkyu. -
