junkyu stops talking to yeoreum when jihoon gets in the driver's seat, "you're driving? is miran okay?"

"yeah, she's fine," jihoon replies, adjusting the rearview mirror. "she's just too tired to drive."

"oh," yeoreum says. "i can move to the passenger seat so she can sleep comfortably in the back?"

"oh, no need. she's going home with yoonbin," jihoon puts his seatbelt on. "i saw your instagram post. i am not a loser!"

yeoreum laughs, "i used to see you as miran's cool twin brother."

"used to? please, i'm still her cool twin brother," jihoon scoffs, rolling down his window.

"she would hit you if she heard you say that," junkyu says, also rolling down his window.

"sleep well, you devil," jihoon grins.

"bye, mi!" junkyu smiles and waves.

miran, wrapped in a blanket, stops talking to yoonbin and waves back at them. yoonbin closes his trunk and says something to her. she waves one last time and gets in the back seat. yoonbin leaves first, followed by seunghun, then jiwoo. jihoon follows suit.

"gimme your phone," miran puts her hand out.
yoonbin takes one hand off the wheel to unlock his phone and hand it to her.

"do you have your jasmine cover on here?" she asks as she scrolls down his playlist titled me. yoonbin hums in response. "good."

yoonbin shifts in his seat as he hears his voice coming out of the car speakers, "i thought you were gonna sleep."

"oh, i'll fall asleep soon. especially with this in the background," she puts yoonbin's phone in one of the cup holders beside his seat.

she wraps the blanket around herself again and leans on one of jihoon's pillows. i hope yeoreum had fun today. i hope she and junkyu had fun together. or my efforts would be for nothing. she closes her eyes as the song plays again, letting yoonbin's voice serenade her to sleep. she falls asleep immediately. yoonbin glances at her sleeping figure from the rearview mirror. he turns down the volume.

"sleep well, mimi."
