jihoon sighs as he unlocks the door and opens it. miran's head turns to look at him. it's silent, the only thing making sound is the tv.

"hey, mi," he says, closing the door and taking his shoes off.

"hi. did anything happen today? the exciting shit always happens when i'm not there," she replies.

jihoon is surprised. he expected her to ignore him.

"nothing really. that youngjae kid got suspended today."

"like, cute boy from chemistry? damn. what'd he do?"

"nobody knows the details, but there's rumours going around about it," he responds, still surprised at her. miran's stubborn, and whenever jihoon goes off on her like that she ignores him until he says something. unless jihoon refuses to swallow his pride to apologize, she does instead. jihoon can't not bring it up. he has to say something. "listen, miran, about this morning—"

"i'm over it," she shrugs,

jihoon takes a moment. "h-huh?"

"i said i'm over it. and you're right anyway. yoonbin's a better fit for me."

"h-hey, i did say to try opening your eyes but i didn't mean yoonbin?! he's off limits!"

"why, you going after him too? gay, bro."

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT AND YOU KNOW IT!"

miran laughs, "i'm just fucking with you. go do the dishes. i cleaned the rest of the house. including your room. the amount of dirty dishes i found in there. disgusting, ji."

jihoon sticks his tongue out at her and heads up the stairs to his room. he's just glad it all worked out in the end.
