it was all an accident. at least, that's what he was told. he was ran over by a car and his father sent him to Seavey Inc. they said they could heal jack. and they did, but not how they wanted.
jack kept disappearing at random times. it scared his family. it even scared him. he'd be talking to his family one moment, the next they'd stop talking and call out to him. he'd still talk, but wouldn't notice the fact that he was transparent.
then he disappeared for good. he didn't like the looks he got at school when he just suddenly "not there", or the looks his family gave him when he just randomly appear.
so, he ran away with his best friend zach. together they hid until a blonde and brunette hid with them. an agency named Crow approached him and he took the offer along with zach.
he relied on those three boys and the people at Crow to control his powers. after 8 months of training, he finally mastered his abilities and was soon a part of a team with the blonde, and two brunettes.
