zach paced the conference room. usually, jack could could calm the boy down, but not this time. someone had taken ryan. he wasn't going to stop until he got the boy back. jonah barely knew him, but zach saw the worry in his eyes.

corbyn was staring at the wall; he didn't know why though. jack was watching him. he knew the boy was trying to calm him but nothing seemed to work.

"the seavey's." corbyn finally spoke. everyone turned to him.

"the seavey's?" zach asked. corbyn nodded. zach knew they all had beef with the seavey's, but ryan and him didn't. they never hunted the two shifters. only the others.

"yes, they want to draw us out; make us play their game. they know ryan means a lot to you, zach, but they also know you mean a lot to us. so, their using ryan as a way to get to us." corbyn concluded.

"wow." corbyn winked at jonah after the comment. the brunette immediately flushed.

"okay, so say we don't do anything. where does that leave ryan?" daniel asked.

"that's the thing. its not that we don't do anything its that we do do something." corbyn spoke cautiously.

"just fucking tell us." zach was getting aggravated. ryan was gone and corbyn was fooling around. he wanted to tear his esophagus from his body.

"we cant break in; they know we'll try that. we cant try to fein our way in. so the choice we have left it to take down other facilities."

"so, slowly destroy their empire?" jack asked and the blonde simply nodded. zach understood where he was going from.

"but doesn't that still put ryan's life on the line?" daniel asked and corbyn shook his head.

"they won't keep him in the main base; its too obvious. they'll keep him at a quieter warehouse where they think we won't go to."

zach could see it now. attack different buildings, get ryan back, destroy the seavey empire. but even as he thought through the plan, he felt a deep sadness; a sudden weight. who cares about his life? it was just ryan who he needed safe.
