corbyn noticed jonah slowing down at their last base that night. he thought about it all night - or at least most of it. he couldn't help but worry for the boy. he saw the way he looked at zach.
it was as if he knew how it felt. well, they all did. except daniel. corbyn was worried for his own siblings. jordan has a natural power for speed, while ashley had the natural power of healing.
he always had his powers; buried deep within him, but they were never there until the seavey's. ashley's powers could be used in many scenarios. corbyn could only imagine what ashley was doing now.
he suddenly got off his bed and left his room. he walked to the security room and located a computer. he saw another one turned one and realized it was jonah.
"what are you doing?" jonah jumped at corbyn's voice.
"looking to see if my siblings are okay."
"really? that's what i'm gonna do." corbyn sat next to him. he logged in.

corbyn was relieved to see this. he logged out and looked over at jonah. he also logged out.
"well..." corbyn started. jonah shrugged. "you should get some sleep though. you looked very worn down."
"eh." corbyn giggled lightly. "this'll sound stupid and weak, but could you stay with me? just for a little?" corbyn gripped jonah's hands. the feeling made him think of the time he was took.
that night he had packed a bag to leave. he was getting ready to leave when a body was near his. he looked up and saw his little sister, ashley. she had asked him where he was going. he simply said he'd return in a few days time.
she had gripped his hands and he stared at them. she'd made him promise her. holding jonah's hands made him create a promise for the brunette. he didn't know what that promise was yet, but he knew it existed.
"sure. anything to help you." corbyn responded. but he could feel the hurt that it left him. he knew he had promised ashley something similar, and he knew he'd give it back to her. he promised.
