corbyn was yanked forward and into the large base. he looked around and happened to catch sight of his siblings. ashley was tending to jordan's legs.

she straightened his left leg out and corbyn cringed.

"we broke his legs so he couldn't run." and i broke your neck so you can't hurt anyone. corbyn thought to himself. he walked towards the room and ashley looked up.

"jordan. jordan." ashley shook him and he groaned. he looked up and he broke out into a smile.

"corbyn." he squeaked out. ashley started on his right leg as he sat down. he ran one hand through his blonde hair.

"hey, hey, you're going to be okay." corbyn assured and hugged him slightly. a crack was heard and corbyn calmed him. jordan fell into a sleep-like state.

ashley finished quickly and he hugged the girl. she cried into his shoulder.

"i got you, i got you."

"i don't think so." someone ripped ashley from corbyn's grasp.

"corbyn!" she yelled and a gun was held to her head.

"put her down." he growled and the man laughed. corbyn was hit in the head and pain spread everywhere. he was hit again. he looked up in time to see ashley crying.

"now watch as your life falls apart."

"corbyn, please!"

"ashley, it'll be okay, i promise. everything will be okay." he persuaded and ashley nodded. he used his powers to distract her and then a loud bang went off.

"ASHLEY!" he screamed and the man dropped her. he raised his hands and gripped his neck.

"no!" anna hit his head, but not before he snapped the mans neck. "daddy!" corbyn pulled ashley's body close to his with his powers.

"it'll be okay." he cried as he held her close. her blood soaked his chest and neck. "i'm so sorry. i tried, ash. i swear, i tried."

"its okay." she lightly said and corbyn looked into the dying light of her eyes. "i'm in your arms once again and that's...all...i need to be...happy." she kissed his cheek and her blood soaked hand brushed his cheek before all light faded.

then he passed out.
