jonah suddenly heard a wail from his bedroom and got up. he ran to wherever the sound came from. he saw corbyn broke down on the ground just near the entrance.
he dropped beside the blonde and the boy looked up.
"jo-jonah. the-they have them." corbyn cried. jonah's heart broke as he looked at him. he took him into his arms.
"they have who, corbyn?" jonah asked and looked down.
"ashley and jordan! they have my baby brother and sister!" he knew both kids were fourteen. corbyn reread the note again. then jonah looked at it.
Dear Hero's,
We have who you consider family. Not just any family. Corbyn, we have yours. Ashley is such a pretty girl, and wow, Jordan is very strong.
I must say, both are fighters, both have strong powers too, but we got them. If you want them back, its simple. Give us Jonah, or Corbyn. Maybe even that Ryan will work, but you know your price.

the letter chilled jonah's spine. he read over the names once more.
"christian." he said simply and corbyn looked up.
"who?"
"christian seavey. he's missing."
"why?" he looked at corbyn's icy blue eyes.
"i killed him." jonah whispered and corbyn's eyes widened. "it was out of pure instinct." he remembered what had happened so vividly. christian tried to approach jonah when he was majorly unstable.
sparks flew from his body, clouds formed around the room, tornados ripped around. he placed a hand on his cheek. jonah saw clarity, but then christian leaned in. he had his body instantly flood with water and he drowned from the inside.
he had fell to the ground and water spilled from his mouth. jonah instantly broke down and dropped next to him. his hands hovered over his body, but he couldn't do anything.
they dragged him off and let's just say, jeff, keri, and tyler had some fun punishing him that night for it.

jonah knew what he had to do. as he sat there, watching corbyn fall apart, he knew that he had to give himself up. he looked over and jack was looking at him.
jack seemed to know what he was thinking and simply mouthed 'don't do it.'
