MERCEDES P.O.V
[NEXT DAY]"Mercy wake up." My mothers tired voice spoke as she slightly shook me, causing me to groan in annoyance.
"Mercedes you need to wake up, I have to take you to the airport before you miss your flight." She said as she allowed a yawn to escape her lips.
I slowly open my eyes seeing as it's still dark outside. Confusion takes over my body as I look at the clock seeing it read 5:45.
I literally just got home less than two hours ago.
"What times my flight?" I groaned as I slowly sat up holding my throbbing head in my hands.
"It's starts boarding at 7:15 so we need to hurry." She says before she slowly exits my room.
I sit on the edge of my bed for another 5 minutes, contemplating on whether or not I should go back to sleep.
I mean, I did just come home not even 2 hours ago from a hella fucked up night and my body needs to rest.
"Merc start bringing down your suitcases." I heard my mom yell from downstairs.
Honestly shut tf up.
I internally rolled my eyes before slowly standing up and bringing down my luggage, not bothering to put on clothes since I never changed out of my clothing from last night.
"Is that the last one?" My mother questioned as I closed the trunk.
I nodded my head before going back inside and gabbing my sunglasses to block out the sun that would set in about an hour.
"Where's dad?" I questioned as I grabbed my 2 litter water bottle from the fridge.
"Asleep."
"Should I go wake him up? So I can say my goodbyes." I asked unsure.
"No, I don't think that would be a good idea. He's really upset with you and he doesn't want to speak with you at the moment." She said with pity written on her face.
That kinda cut me deep, making me feel very upset and confused that my father doesn't want to speak with me even though he knows I'm going to be gone for awhile.
"Good, I don't want to speak with him either." I lied as I made my way back to the car.
I hopped in the front seat, laying my head on the glass window watching as we pulled out the drive way.
My head felt as though it was pounding against my skull and my body felt extremely weak.
"Do you have Advil." I spoke as my voice started going hoarse.
"There should be some in the arm rest."I opened the arm rest seeing the bottle of tabs, before pouring them in my hand and quickly swallowing 2 then washing it down with water.
As I started watching the dark skies above us, my thoughts started scattering all over the place.
Life? Honestly what tf is life? I don't fuckin know. Someone really needs to tell me.
I'm trying to live my life to the complete fullest but every little thing I do, I get shit for.
Yes okay, I get drunk, I smoke, I party, I sleep around but why is that such a goddamn crime?
I enjoy the little things in life, but I also want to see all that the world has to offer.
I mean who wants to be old and 70 looking back at your life and thinking 'wow I spent my entire life stressing about school and never going out and doing anything fun'.Lmao not me. I want to look back and be happy knowing that lived my life, to the complete fullest.
I want stories to tell the grandchildren, and wild stories to laugh about between my best friends as we look back to our youth when we are old and damn near dead.
And because of the fact that I'm choosing to be happy, and live my life stress free without a care in the world I'm getting punished.
Right because society makes it as if your not like everyone else then something is absolutely wrong with you.
Lmao this is bullshit, all of it and it has me absolutely fucked up.
"We're here." My mom said as we pull up to the drop off section of the airport.
I nodded as I slowly got out of the car, popping the trunk before taking out my luggage.
"Help me take this inside." I said referring to the fact that I have 15 luggages and two arms.
"I can't, if I leave my car here unattended then I'll get a ticket." She said
"Fine."
There was a brief moment of silence between the both of us, neither knowing how to say goodbye to one another.
"Bye mom thanks for dropping me off I guess." I said as a smile appeared on my lips.
"Your welcome. Good bye Mercedes, I love you and I'll miss you so much." She said as she wrapped her arms around my body in a tight, heart felt hug.
"I love you too mom." I said savoring this moment.
"Try not to have too much fun while I'm gone." I said causing a laugh to escape her lips.
I grabbed my duffle bag, wrapping the strap across my body, then dragging all 15 luggages inside to the bag check in.
After checking in my bags, and getting each and every single one weighed I was finally able to go throughout the rest of my day without worrying about loosing them.
The sun starts to set, brightening up the inside of the building more than it already was causing my eyes to become irritated.
I quickly made my way through the medal detector before grabbing my shoes and purse then putting on my sunglasses, allowing some relief on my eyes.
"I'm lost." I mumble to myself as I look at my tickets trying to find which gate I'm located at.
"Excuse me miss, do you happen to know which gate I'm located? I can't find it." I said continuing to strain my already hoarse voice
"Your right here. Better hurry they've already started boarding." I rolled my eyes in annoyance not wanting to run over there.
My feet slowly trudged into my gate and onto the plane. There weren't many people on this plane, for each person there was like 3 Seats giving them room to stretch out their bodies.
I made my way to the middle of the plane, farthest from both bathroom before sitting down and stretching my body out.
"We will start our ascend shortly." A woman's voice spoke over the intercom.
I laid my head on the the tiny window next to me before slowly drifting off into a deep slumber.
When I wake up, I'll be at obedient school
