Life sometimes hates the existence of well-being. Not that it 'hates', but mother nature is scary and uncontrolable, it owns an unknown force that cannot be held, cannot be predicted and sometimes things are just not in the time to be anticipated, saved.
August 14, Sokcho, one of South Korean not-so-big cities, or people would not call it as metropolitan as Seoul or Incheon, just happened to get sweeped by a big nature catastophe. There was an unexpected earthquake near the South Korean seas and it affected the under sea plate tectonics in the North, causing a major tsunami to Sokcho city and the areas surrounding. Many people were evacuated from the city, but many didn't make it and somehow lost their track under the massive and giant waves that invaded the city from sea. They lost their lives. Those who still managed to live had to gave their properties and belongings in, leaving themselves with nothing.
It was a nightmare, for the first time for South Korea to suffer such terrifying disaster. Although people who were missing still countable, but hundreds should not be counted as minor. The country mourned for what happened.

Two weeks had passed by, people were still afraid and warned of aftershocks. The plate tectonics were still in alert state, which meant society still wasn't completely safe. Government's institutions had been working hard to provide safety utilities, such as evacuation houses, food products, dental and hygiene stuffs along with medical care.
The amount of loss was considered as high and vastly disadvantageous.
But nature disaster had never been just about material loss, it was more than just houses and properties. The majority lost their family members and friends, brothers, sisters, someone who they truly loved. Houses could be built again, clothes could be bought again, but there would be no replacement for love and certain human being.

Houses made of tents and containers were being built in one of evacuations areas. A lot of hopeless people protected themselves from the hot sun and raining weather under limited tools and condition provided by the government. Meanwhile the government itself still had to look for manage multiple mending at different locations until they could relocate victims to more decent places.
Thankfully winter had passed by. But the weather was still concerning due to quick change from one state to another.
Knowing that government couldn't work alone, they invited and engage more people to contribute in helping the victims. Conglomerates and first-class families were placed at the first row that government asked their help from, since they had much money it could positively affect their image as a whole.
Private and international education institutions were included too.
One of elite universities from Seoul offered their hands out to help the tsunami victims. Not just monetarily, but students and lecturers literally visited the evacuation area to get in touch with the victims directly, in order to make it real and obvious.
Certainly elite universities consisted of students from wealthy family backgrounds. Some of them were sometimes arrogant, haughty and refused to touch whatever that didn't come from their elite environment.
In this case, their fake image as angels that came straightly from heaven was needed to feed the media. And those unversitiy students? They were one of the frauds too.
"Jesus Christ, I regret my decision being a volunteer for this occasion." A handsome, tall and actor look-alike guy named Choi Soobin and his friends just arrived at the evacuation area, unnecessarily with their sport cars driving through ruins and unasphalted streets.
