Being able to be back to the field was a special kind of refreshment, except for seeing a lot of people suffered in cold and hurtful situation. For the first time in his life, Soobin actually empathized, commiserated with the people in the area and tried to keep in touch with them, in- or outside his duty time.
Another experience to tell and deliver. Soobin felt a major change in his life, everything happened in five days and required a Huening Kai.
It was seven in evening. Following the daily routine pattern, the stundents were discharged from their field duty and finally got time for rest. Not entirely, they were still obligated to help the catering team in serving activity for dinner.
Quite different to their fundamental personality, everybody would think they were angels in human form sent from heaven.
Meanwhile, the famous doctor gang was found almost dried and passed out after a long day working on the field. They were still in their white, doctor cloak, wearing different colours of shirt and didn't even try to wash themselves, although the sweats already dissolved in the outfit they were wearing. Just too tired.
For Soobin, it was especially tiring since he didn't talk to Huening Kai for a day. He had a solid reason for that; Huening Kai was with someone else. Another absurd moment striked, Soobin hated to acknowledge his own feeling, that he dislike the presence of a stranger that walked side by side with Huening Kai. Furthermore, Huening Kai didn't come out of his tent, leaving question mark for Soobin since he wasn't coming alone.
Soobin was stressed out.
"I can't get up. I wanna go to sleep." Hyunjin whined.
"I'm finished." Jungkook continued.
The boys were laying on their bunk, trying to find motivation that would probably pulled them out of their bunk and continue with the daily run-down. Soobin kept silent and refused to add more comments, he was extremely tired that day. The small and narrow container was provided the neatest by their university, but still, the guys needed extra space to stretch and inhale bigger.
"Fuck. Get up boys, we need to work!" Jungkook directed.
Instead of getting up, Soobin rolled to the side and hugged the only pillow they had. "I will catch up later, go ahead." He said.
"What is it? This is not the Soobin we knew last week." Beomgyu wondered.
"I'm too tired, just go. I will come before the cleaning up."
"Jungkook hyung, you can't say yes to his lazy ass, right?" Hyunjin couldn't get more annoyed.
"Of course I can't." Jungkook said as he approached Soobin in his bunk. "Bro, get up!"
"I will..." However, the guy didn't seem like he was going to put effort just to move his long legs and he shut his eyes instead.
The boys didn't usually surpassed private space (except yesterday for Beomgyu and Hyunjin who suddenly broke into Soobin's room), especially Soobin looked very exhausted and drowsy, from head to toe. Not that Soobin had the priviledge, but the boys could relate with the fatigue that Soobin was having.
Jungkook sighed heavily. "Alright, make sure to come and help with the cleaning up." He tapped Soobin's butt gently and left the room, along with the other two boys following him from behind. They let Soobin sleep for a while, in case he didn't make his promise, they were so ready to whack him with surgery needle.
"Hyung!" Beomgyu suddenly grabbed Hyunjin's arm as they were leaving the container, he looked startled by something. "Remember that Soobin said we should give the backpacks to Huening Kai and his friend, right?"
