There was a little leftover for Soobin to enjoy after hours sitting with his friends. They didn't do campfire and confess to each other or self-reflection like in the army or scouts, they just sang a long, mostly the doctor gang talked and the others listened to them. However, it was quite warm and the moment was precious.
Only a few days left for the students until they would be completely dismissed from their voluntary activities, but Soobin wanted more time, somehow. The main reason was clear, it was Huening Kai, but Soobin slowly changed into a different person. He cared not only about Huening Kai, but the whole atmosphere in the evacuation area was something else. A lot of lessons and experience were harvested by Soobin and his friends. The first days and the last days were totally in opposite. They didn't howl or rant anymore.
Soobin asked Bahiye and Lea to take a walk with Huening Kai after they were done with the gathering. It was suspicious for the sisters at first, however, Huening Kai convinced the two and he got permisson at the end. Further to that, Soobin promised to take Huening Kai back before ten. Sounded more like date.
Meanwhile Soobin and Huening Kai took a night walk just by two, the others went to their base, as Huening Kai's sisters and Jeongin went back to their tent. It was a long, long, long day, but fascinating how each of them could spend each day even better.
"So, ya'll found out already, who are you going to give the house to?" Jungkook asked along their way back to the base camp.
"I think I'm going to give it to Huening Kai's friend." Hyunjin answered.
"Yang Jeongin?" Jungkook ensured. "Okay, so you take care of the house for Yang Jeongin." The older one made approval.
"I don't think I know anybody else beside his friend Yang Jeongin. Do we?" Beomgyu wasn't really happy about their plan, suddenly.
"Right, though. The only friend Huening Kai has is Yang Jeongin, I've never seen him with anybody else. Well, Soobin is an addition character to his life, I guess." Hyunjin agreed.
"It's okay, I think two families are not so bad." Jungkook put both of his hands into his doctor cloak. "Like I told you before; I plan to extend this relocation for more unlucky evacuees if both of Huening Kai's and Jeongin's family accept the house in Seoul. And the next step is I'm going to ask my dad if he can support full donation for this relocation. If he supports, then I will talk to Taehyun's dad to take over the residence matters."
"Good idea." Hyunjin nodded head. "My family said the donation they gave through the government didn't work very well. I guess it's better for us to make our own donation event without government's intervention."
"Sure, let's talk to our parents after this."
"Hey, doctors!" A sudden call was heard from distance, making the three turned around at the same time into one same direction.
"Excuse me, may I help you?" Jungkook squinted. They saw a guy, quite tall, but surely Soobin was probably the tallest among them; his expression was fierce and he wore a blue hat. The outfit was casual, but it matched the colour of his hat and even the shoes were blue, except for the belt, it had chess-colour pattern.
"No, thank you. I'm healthy." The guy said. "Just want to ask, have you perhaps seen a boy wearing yellow hoodie walking around here?"
"...yellow hoodie?" Beomgyu tilted head.
"Yes, he is about this tall and his name is Huening Kai. I saw him with one of your guys yesterday, I think he takes Huening Kai for a night walk again and I'm afraid he will stay outside until late. You guys might see or know?" The guy explained.
