"Thank you for your backpack, doctor Choi."

It was the very first words Huening Kai said as soon as they left the tent, of course after Huening Kai finished his meal. Tonight he ate deliciously, thanks to Soobin who sacrificed his resting time inbetween and prepared the special menu for the Huening family.

"Doctor Choi," Soobin laughed at himself, "I'm not a doctor." He talked gently while grabbing his backpack that Huening Kai just returned.

"But you are going to be a doctor, right?" Huening Kai grinned.

"I hope so..."

"I know you are." Huening Kai zipped open Soobin's bag and took something out of it. "This," he grabbed a card, "I found this in your bag. I wonder if you were looking for this."

"Yeah, I was." He was nervous, not about the existence of his student ID, but the picture on the card. It was two years ago, when he first entered university. He would judge himself hard.

"Hyung, thank you for helping dad today. If he didn't eat one more time tonight, I'm sure he would fall right to sick and by that case, I wouldn't know what to do."

"I thought you ate your meal too?" Soobin looked at the younger boy scornfully. "Your sister said you often left your meal so that they could eat?"

"...I had no choice. They looked so hungry and cold so I gave my food to them."

"You can always ask more."

"Nobody asks for more food, so why would I?"

"The temperature inside the tent is cold, Huening Kai." Soobin emphasized in slight anger. "You could catch a cold if you didn't eat properly."

"I have jacket and blanket." Huening Kai giggled softly.

If Soobin wanted to get angry to Huening Kai, he would. Something made him wanted to throw his anger just like that, but the reason behind his sudden protection towards Huening Kai was more than just environment background. It involved his personal thought too, mind, feeling.

"Keep the bread!" He pointed at Huening Kai's forehead, sharply.

"I will. You nag a lot like a grandma." Huening Kai joked. It nearly made Soobin smile, but he held it back. "Your backpack is really comfortable."

"I know, right? Better than your ugly totebag"

"Psh!" Huening Kai hit Soobin's arm, quite harsh but he couldn't get harsher than Soobin usually hit Beomgyu on the head. "That's my nuna's totebag, the only thing left after tsunami."

Soobin could have had said sorry, but again, he refused to because he was a jerk, rich boy.

"If the totebag is the only thing left from her, then why are you using it?" Soobin asked.

"Nuna said it's okay. She keeps her book in the uni, so she goes without one. My little sister got a backpack from donation so I think everything goes well." Huening Kai explained.

"Well... seeing your dad unhealthy because of this whole situation doesn't make me thing that everything goes well." Soobin looked around and realised how awful the evacuation camp was. Everything wasn't quite well built and there were lacks of anything everywhere. The students had spent their time for almost a week there, some of them had adjusted themselves and chosen to enjoy the hard living for a while. Meanwhile the rest needed to adapt better.

"Thank you for giving treatment to my dad. You are definitely going to be a good doctor."

"Quit the courtesy! You need to pay for that." Soobin's face looked cynical. Honestly, Soobin felt shy when Huening Kai complimented him, he could feel his cheeks started to get hot.
