A long day in Seoul, not just one day, but two days filled with euphoria and a feeling of ups and downs. As promised, Soobin drove Huening Kai back to the evacuation site, one day later than what Soobin had promised Huening Kai's father.
Soobin once said when he first came to the evacuation site that he would not go to that place using an expensive car, but that day, Soobin decided to take Huening Kai with his favorite Tesla.
"What will your father say about me? I think his trust will just drop." Concerns arose, clearly visible from the face of Soobin who tensed when entering the evacuation area.
"Of course not, why does he have to scold you too? After all, I came safely and I'm happy." Huening Kai replied.
Both have different impressions after returning from Seoul. Despite Soobin's worries, he still hopes that he can convince Huening Kai's father to go to Seoul with his family.
"A good afternoon." Soobin greeted politely when Huening Kai's father appeared from behind a tent.
"Ah... I thought you were going home last night." David smiled at the arrival of two young men, especially his son.
"Ah ... about that ..." Soobin cleared his throat after bowing in front of Huening Kai's father. "I'm sorry for being late to take your child home. My promise is to take Huening Kai last night."
"Dad, this is not Soobin hyung's fault at all. I did not want to go home yesterday because yesterday I forgot time and made us have to stay longer in Seoul." Huening Kai interrupted to defend Soobin before his father.
"U-uh..."
"Trust me!" Huening Kai put on a merciful face to convince his father.
The interesting thing was when David Huening gave a wide and soothing smile when he saw Soobin apologize in a way that was so polite and respectful.
"It's okay. Jeongin and Yeonjun arrived here last night and they said that you possibly wouldn't go home sooner." Huening Kai's father said. "After all, I won't let Soobin drive at night alone."
"Right, I also won't let Soobin hyung drive alone at night." Huening Kai smiled broadly.
"So... how was your trip in Seoul? Did you have fun?" Asked David.
"We had a lot of fun. Soobin hyung and his friends took us for a walk to a cool place and good food." Huening Kai tells a story.
"We also brought a little souvenir from Seoul," Soobin continued, "we hope to be able to bring you and your family to Seoul. Huening Kai said Lea and Bahiye would love it."
"Of course they will like it, I might as well." David replied, nodding his head.
"Speaking about going to Seoul..." Soobin raised his head and ventured to look directly at David's face. "We have visited your new home in Seoul. The house is ready to be occupied and just waiting for your approval to be moved there."
"Ah right, about the move ..."
"What about his move, dad? You've thought about this carefully, right?" Huening Kai had high hopes from his father. In the middle of their conversation, Huening Kai's sisters came out of the tent to greet their brother after returning from Seoul.
Soobin was nervous, afraid that his offer had suddenly been rejected subtly. There was absolutely no problem with money or time, but Soobin really wanted to stay near Huening Kai and hoped to meet Huening Kai without any distance constraints.
